Super emplacement et bien équipé

Very nice apartment very close to the interesting Chateau with it‘s wonderful parkland. Shops and cafes (inc the great boulangère and Carrefore) & model railway museum were only a few minutes walk away. Bus and train Station within easy reach. The Town itself is a great place from which to visit Versailles snd Chartres using the train.

Apartment layout was a little awkward but it’s not a big issue

L'emplacement est super, en plein centre ville près du château et du musée rambolitain. L'appartement était propre et fonctionnel.

Les lits étaient un peu courts (mon conjoint d'1m80cm a dû dormir un peu en biais). Le canapé était un peu petit aussi.

Let’s start with cleanliness — it’s remarkable. No, seriously, you’d only expect to see a place this spotless in a five-star hotel. The floors were so shiny you wanted to walk around barefoot. Not a speck of dust on the furniture, not a bit of dirt in the corners, and the bathroom was absolutely pristine. The location is excellent. It’s exactly a ten-minute walk to the train station, from where a comfortable direct train gets you to Paris-Montparnasse in 35 minutes. At the same time, the building is on a quiet little street. The main square, with its cafés, bakeries, boutiques, and the famous château-museum, is just a two- to three-minute walk away. The building itself has great heat and sound insulation. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail: an extremely comfortable, spacious bed, a stylish sofa, a large TV, roomy wardrobes, fast and stable Wi-Fi, an excellent vacuum cleaner, and lots of tasteful decorative touches. There is individually controlled heating. The kitchen is equipped like something from a cooking show: an induction hob, modern oven and microwave, coffee machine, all the necessary dishes, spoons, forks and knives of various types, plus many other tools for true food lovers. As a complimentary treat, there is tea and coffee; for cooking you’ll find a set of spices, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and wine vinegar. In the bathroom there are fluffy towels, a full stock of toilet paper and rubbish bags, shampoos and shower gels, and even toothpaste in case you forgot your own. And that’s not to mention a complete set of cleaning products for keeping the place tidy. A special thank you to the host: all our messages and requests were answered within minutes. We asked for an iron at 8 p.m., and the very next day it appeared at our disposal together with a brand-new ironing board. In the apartment there is also a neatly compiled guidebook with detailed instructions for all the appliances and plenty of other useful information.

Not a single one. Yes, it's pretty much perfect as it is. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Rambouillet, whether for a couple of nights, a week of foodie trips to Paris, or a whole month of work, just book this apartment: you’ll hardly find better conditions for this price in town. We rented it for a full month, from October 1 to 31, 2025, and we can honestly say we never once regretted our choice. The apartment exceeded all our expectations and we hope it will exceed yours too. Whoever you are, this place is definitely worth your attention.
