Smart clean property. Convenient location with good parking.

The property was smart, clean and well equiped. Good parking spot. Good location for walking into town. Excellent shower. Comfortable beds.

The sloping ceiling in the upstairs made things a bit cramped around the beds. Although very smart, a few things were not very practically designed and layed out in the living area and kitchen.

Beautiful little cottage, with excellent travel links.

Host lives next door, so was able to meet us at the property as soon as we arrived. Handover was smooth and simple. Host also provided us with a UK-Euro conversion electrical plug, as we had forgotten ours. The house was charming.. a little quirky but spotless, tastefully well-decorated, quiet and had everything we needed. Location was excellent .. train station about 15 minutes walk straight down the road.. and road links about 5 minutes in the other direction. Off-street parking is available in front of the house, which itself is in a small lane .. so no worries about somewhere to park, vehicle security or damage. Heating worked unobtrusively.. hot water on demand and the shower is huge. All round excellent.

The Booking.com message about checking in was sent via email after we'd departed home, so when we arrived we had no idea how to obtain the keys. We found that email later... but luckily the host answered our phone call.. otherwise that would have been awkward. The house is a good size but has some limitations. The stairs are fairly steep so need care, particularly going down.. and the double bed is tricky to navigate around (sloped ceilings in both bedrooms so you need to pay attention). Kitchen had everything needed but worktop space is at a premium... the cooker only has two hobs so what you can prepare (if you came all this way to cook at home) is ultimately limited. Otherwise the kitchen was very well equipped although an additional small pan would be useful. Wi-Fi struggled a bit.. we couldn't stream TV without constant buffering.. but for your phone/browsing it was fine.

The gite was comfortable and very clean with everything you needed. Spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Everything seemed brand new.

Perfect place to call home for day trips into central Paris

Beautiful location, wonderful gite. Clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It was like sleeping in our beds at home. With a 10 minute walk to the station for fast trains into Paris, this was the perfect home for us for 3 nights.
