What a great village to visit and a wonderful host and comfortable property.

The property is very clean, well equipped kitchen and laundry, coffee service and close access to the bus line. We did not have a car, and once we figured out the bus line/service it made the entire town availalbe. We loved Rambouilette and hope to come back for future visits. It's proximity to Paris and Versailles is perfect and the people are very nice.

We did not have a phone so contacting the owner to get the code to the key box was challenging, but once we did make contact he was there within minutes and helped us get in, showed us around and was very responsive to any requests we had while there.

Our stay was very good. We appreciated the homey touches (table beautifully set, bathrobes, board games) as well as the practical ones (phone chargers available, patio furniture). Excellent communication with the host.

The induction stove. It took us ages to figure out how to get it to work (we have a gas stove).

Great place to rest when you a travelling

The space, the neighbourhood, the appartment

When we made a reservation, it said that the owner would contact us a week in advance of our arrival with the check-in instructions. They didn't, so we eventually sent a text a day in advance. We were instructed to sent a text 30 mins. prior to arrival. We did, but got no response. The owner was not there when we arrived. So we again contacted the given number. After 5-10 minutes the owner showed up. After that, every went well. After a hot day of traveling the 5 of us would like to take a shower. This was possible, only for ±5 minutes each. If you took a longer shower, the water would run out of the shower into the bathroomfloor because the drain didn't function as it should. Some of us ended up not be able to shower at all. There was a letter right next to the door that says we have to take all the neighbours in consideration and not make any noise after 9PM. Shortly after we arrrived, the neighbours started to smoke hashes. So we took them in consideration, but not vice versa :-(

A quiet and comfortable apartment in a superb location within a short distance from the town centre

This apartment is very well placed to explore the town of Rambouillet and the surrounding area. The chateau and the town centre are within a 15 minute walk. There are lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants which makes this an ideal stopover. We could park right outside the door for free. The apartment itself was perfect for a couple, with a comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen and a cute, private outside seating area. There were thoughtful touches like a supply of tea and coffee and a jug of chilled, filtered water in the fridge. We would definitely come here again and highly recommend it.

Appartement très agréable, la décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût autant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur et avec des matériaux de qualité. Il est très bien équipé et très propre, pour se sentir comme à la maison. Les petites attentions à notre arrivée sont touchantes. L’emplacement est idéal dans une jolie ville où il fait bon vivre avec toutes les commodités à proximité, un magnifique parc avec les jardins, les plans d’eau et le château. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

L espace,l agencement,la deco,les matelas

L odeur insupportable et affreuse d humidite/moisi/refoulement de l evier de cuisine lorsqu on est arrive. L odeur pestinentielle qui venait de l evier fe cuisine. On a chauffe au maximum et ferme le bac de l evier et cela a attenue.on suppose qu il y a un souci avec l evacuation de l evier et que le logement est reste ferme.veci etant on a failli repartir direct car c est pzs normal .in drap housse etait tache et plein de cheveux et poils..(,notre fils a dormi au fessus de lz vouettevet non fans les draps..une housse de couette avait un trou et llimee.il serait judicoeux de prevoir un eclairzgr zutomotique pour l acces et la porte d entree. A 18h en hiver il fait dejz nuit et on a du traverser la petite cour dans le noir...

les plus: savons, liquide douche, papier toilette, essuie tout, lessive linge sont fournis.

un peu trop d'objets decoratifs qui encombrent un peu tous les espaces. A la place de la valise decorative mais pas tres fonctionelle, peut etre 3 etageres qui permettraient aux occupants de stocker leur epicerie (pas d'autre espace disponible). Penser a reparer l'eclairage au dessus des plans de travail (3 ampoules ne marchaient pas) et revoir le systeme d'eclairage des appliques du mur du fond. Un lampadaire de plus dans ce coin serait utile pour les repas (le plafonnier est efficace mais trop fort pour repas) Rajouter des petites cuilleres (seulement 4 ou 5). D'une maniere generale rajouter des endroits de rangement pour les occupants indispensables quand on reste 1 semaine ou plus.
