Niet genoeg gelegenheid om spullen in de badkamer neer te zetten, geen haakjes om handdoeken op te hangen.

Die Terrasse, die zur Wohnung gehört, ist unschlagbar. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, so dass alles gut fußläufig erreichbar ist. In der Küche ist alles, was nötig ist. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte hervorragend.

Unangenehm ist der Geruch im Bad, der aus den Abflüssen kommt. Es hätte insgesamt auch ein wenig sauberer sein können (etwas Dreck in den Ecken und tote Fliegen im Bad). Der Wohnraum hat das Fenster direkt am Fußweg, was der Bauweise in der Algarve geschuldet ist. Wir haben diesen Raum nicht genutzt, was für uns kein Problem war.

The communication with Smartavillas before and during our visit was excellent. Sue met us on arrival to hand over the keys and show us around the property. The house was just perfect for our stay. It was generally very quiet and in an excellent location close to the centre of the town. We loved the quiet, secure garden and the facilities had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable indeed and the bedding was cosy and spotlessly clean. The wifi was excellent too.

The towels and bedding were spotlessly clean but there were a few small cleanliness issues. The dining table had greasy smears on it, there was old toothpaste smudges around the bathroom sink and the floor seemed very dusty/gritty. The lock on the sliding door to the garden was completely broken on arrival so we had to make a temporary fix using a broom handle. This should have been checked before we arrived as we had to wait a few days for this to be repaired (am assuming maintenance cannot be arranged over a weekend). The sink in the bathroom gave occasional whiffs of a bad drain smell. We appreciate this is a traditional style home, perhaps bleach could be supplied to help with this? Finally, there was no loo roll supplied which could have been very inconvenient if we had arrived late at night.

The property was in a central location, very convenient for restaurants and a good nearby bakery and public transport (train & bus stations) Generally very clean, though there is a problem with drainage smells in the bathroom. Good outdoor space, which we used a lot, it wouldn't be so relaxing if the host (who shares the space) had also been there.

The bathroom had minimal storage space for our toiletries - suggest adding a shelf or two. There were no toiletries provided, except hand soap and an insufficient amount of toilet paper. The bedroom window opened onto the pavement, so we had to keep that shut at night to eliminate noise.
