cs veniceflat Apartment - Venice - Apt Vce - 15' from Venice

Location was good for our pre-flight stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Arrival details were clear and comprehensive. Had a lovely dinner in Al Quadrante, local restaurant.

Nothing. It did what it needed to do for us.

It was a lovely, large, clean and comfortable space close to the airport. It was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I had an early flight and did not get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The location is so close to the airport that I could walk to the airport in the morning to catch my flight the next morning. In addition, I was able to store a bag that I did not need to take on on the trip the next day for only €4.

Everything was great. The only thing that could be improved is: the location where the keys are stored is dark at night. The keys are in mini combination safes and it was hard to read the numbers. The problem was easily solved, though, with the flashlight on my cell phone.

The location is excellent and very quiet, despite the proximity to the airport. We left our luggage at the airport and took an Alilaguna boat to Venice for the day before our evening flight out of Marco Polo. The outdoor patio area is very nice (we had a ground floor apartment). We initially booked for one guest and were able to change to three - the hosts were very accommodating about this - the apartment is listed as having room for four adults. We actually met them as we were leaving, which was nice because usually one doesn't meet the hosts in such places.

It wasn't clear from the photos that the apartment is basically one large room, with a kitchen and a bathroom, as it's listed as having room for four adults. That's fine, if they don't mind all sleeping in the same room and two being on a sofa bed. The description does note "one bedroom", so take this into account when booking.

It’s clean and in a good location

The shared kitchen has almost no equipment. It’s really just a fridge (which was warm), a kettle and a microwave. No cups, cutlery or anything. A bit bleak. I’m not sure if I didn’t read the booking info properly but I’d read the reviews which said it was a really well equipped but now I read back, it seems to be referring to an apartment where we seemed to have a room with a shared kitchen. I don’t think that was clear when I booked. We survived but it was gloomy and under equipped and I’m glad we weren’t staying more than one night. If you need self catering (as we do) this is absolutely not good enough.
