This apartment is in "Le Gallic" an Art Deco block overlooking the iconic Plage de l'Ecluse. The lobby to the building has 1920s original features including old-style lifts (there is a more modern goods-lift if you have larger suitcases). The apartment itself is perfectly modern, with all the necessary equipment, whilst benefiting from decent sized-rooms and high ceilings that were typical in good quality buildings a hundred years ago.

The location was superb, just above the plage de l'ecluse, surrounded by interesting shopping streets, easy walk from centre and Market. Central location for the film festival. Free car parking not far away. Helpful official tourist office around corner of building. Bed was very comfortable.

Confusion about what was or was not included in our booking. Hoomy told us to bring bedding. We deduced not duvet by looking at photos but arrived with sheets to find they were in fact included. Towels and tea towels weren't. The flat was spacious and light and well equipped but the building was slightly gloomy, there was daytime noise from building work to other flats and there was animal/bird noise of scampering above the ceilings which was disconcerting.

Emplacement exceptionnel, logement spacieux très bien équipé et confortable.

Attention à bien prévenir que c'est un très grand lit vu que le linge n'est pas fourni. Sinon RAS
