Colosseo Romantic Suite

Great location, clean and well designed.

It’s a great location and the suite itself is very nice. It actually has two bathrooms though only one was listed so that was a nice surprise.

The manager. We booked this through booking.com. The listing and details stated that check in would be at 3 pm. The manager told us that no, it’s his policy that check-in is at 4:30. I pointed out to him that the booking says 3. He said will fine you can cancel…however the booking clearly stated that if I canceled there would be no refund. So we waited until 4:30, he messages us that it’s ready. Since we’d be at a cafe near we cross the street and let him know we’re at the property. It’s 38C the owner then apparently walks away from his phone for 30 min while we’re standing outside with all our bags in the sun. At five he comes back and gives us the code to get inside.

It was apparent that the room was part of a larger suite and a temporary partition is placed between the 2 areas. This meant that for the 4 days the room we had was not as equipped as advertised. All it would take would be a few extra utensils, bowls, a means of heating water or microwave and it would be good.
