Snug in name and in fact!

My husband and I stayed here for the very last stop of our honeymoon. The house was definitely cozy and the host was so welcoming! You can get to Donegal Town even on foot, but there is also space to park in the accomodation. It's close to the Reel Inn, a pub where we had the night of our lives enjoying both traditional irish music and more contemporary one. We can surely recommend this place!

Amazing

Perfect little spot if you’re travelling with young kids, you have the freedom to watch tv when they go bed. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming too!

Comfortable warm stay

The home was clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The neighbourhood is quiet. The host was hospitable and thoughtful, providing extra touches like welcome snacks (scones), clothing racks, and hangers.

Take note that the master bedroom is on the second floor. It would be even better if a luggage rack was provided.

Modern cosy unit with everything you might need outside Donegal town

Lovely little space outside Donegal town. The unit is great, self contained with everything you'd need; there's one big upstairs room, and downstairs is an open plan entrance/ kitchen/ sitting room and a bedroom at the back with a set of bunkbeds, and a bathroom with a shower (and a lit mirror, good for doing makeup!). Everything was very modern and clean and there was clean towels left out. The kitchen has a microwave, washing machine, fridge, everything you might need. There was a hairdryer provided in the main bedroom. Donegal town is lovely; make sure you check out the castle and the pubs! Hosts were lovely and gave great advice about getting around the town and things to do. Really enjoyed our stay there! Taxi availability was much better than I'd thought but you have to ring, nothing app-based; the hosts provide local numbers in the welcome booklet.

Not really a problem but just to note if you needed an iron/ ironing board there isn't one. If driving, be careful when pulling out of the drive as it's not a particularly low speed road but the visibility is okay. It's definitely within walking distance of the town (less than 20 mins, easily) but would be careful if walking at night as the roads up to the house are unlit and there isn't proper paths all the way, though the hosts kindly left out high-vis jackets which you can use if needed (we just went by taxi).

Donegal was Snug.

The self-contained apartment was lovely and had everything you needed. Brendan, the host, was attentive and welcoming. There was fresh milk, bread, and butter supplied, which was unexpected. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The snug was so clean. It was perfect for our stay in Donegal town. It is very modern and perfect for a family of 4. Claire and Brendan were amazing hosts and so helpful. Highly recommend staying here

Gemütliches Nest, fußläufig von Donegal Town

Sehr netter Empfang und alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg in den Ort. Klein, aber gemütlich. Wir haben Scones zur Begrüßung bekommen und im Kühlschrank waren ein paar Basics fürs Frühstück. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge.

Der Fußboden war recht kalt und das Haus war ziemlich hellhörig. Das Wasser im Waschbecken (Bad) wurde nicht warm. Aber das waren verhältnismäßig Kleinigkeiten.

Ankommen, wohlfühlen, entspannen.

Eine helle und freundliche Unterkunft mit allem, was man zum wohlfühlen braucht. Kuschelige Betten, in denen wir sehr gut geschlafen haben, eine Küche mit sehr guter Ausstattung und dicke, kuschelige Handtücher im Bad. Ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, Parkplatz vor der Tür und kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Alles Perfekt.
