Spacious apartment, helpful hosts

The apartment is very spacious so it is very comfortable for a trip with friends or family. Everything looked clean and new, and we loved the little details, such as some chocolates waiting for us when we arrived. We had an issue when we left and the hosts helped us even after our checkout, which we really appreciated.

It was a very good stay in the Swiss Capital City of Museums

The apartment is located in Kleinbasel, close to tram stop. It is easy to get to the city center by tram. Basel Card is provided by the apartment for free. Instructions are clear and bilingual (German/English), In the Apartment there is a kitchen corner in the living room, two separate bedrooms with double beds. Beds are comfortable, aparrtment is very quiet at night. A supermarket is in 5 min. walking distance, the Badischer Bahnhof is also nearby. All in all, really good place for a stay with the family. Photos of the apartment on booking.com are reliable.

There were lots of good things about the property. Central location and well connected, spacious, living room/kitchen and bedrooms really neat and clean, good kitchen facilities, quiet and well insulated/ heated. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Basel.

A few things could have made our stay more relaxing. The number of emails was a bit overwhelming, and one included an incorrect key code, which caused some confusion later. There were also several signs around the flat warning of penalties (e.g. 35 CHF for dirty dishes, 700 CHF for a lost key), which might be better listed in a single online document or email rather than displayed throughout the flat. Conversely, some useful details were only available via QR code, despite the listing saying a printed copy would be on the coffee table — having that in paper form would have been helpful. Overall, though, the property was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay — we just hope this feedback helps make it even better.

Perfect Location and Absolutely Lovely!

A lovely property, conveniently located near transportation with easy access to the City Center. The apartment had everything you could want for a short stay. The property managers were very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. Absolutely one of the best stays I have ever had!

A great place to stay in Basel!

The apartment was comfortable and in a perfect location. We visited during Fasnacht, and it was close enough to walk to festivities but far enough away to get a reprieve from the noise and crowds! Very homey, and would definitely visit again.

Eine perfekte Wohnung

Die Wohnung übertraf unsere Erwartungen, da sie nicht nur alles enthielt, was wir brauchten, sondern auch viele der Dinge, die Mieter normalerweise selbst kaufen: Waschpulver, Müllsäcke (nicht alle waren vorhanden), Tabs für die Spülmaschine und für die Kaffeemaschine. Die Wohnung ist nicht ganz zentral, aber unweit des Zentrums, sauber und ruhig. Alles ist übersichtlich und praktisch.

Leider keine 10 Sterne, sondern nur 9 wegen der Drohungen, die überall in der Wohnung hängen und unseren Aufenthalt etwas vergiftet haben: 1. für den Verlust von Schlüsseln (700 Franken Strafe); 2. für das Rauchen (1000 Franken); 3. für das Verbreiten von illegalen Inhalten über Torrents (strafbar); 4. für das Check-out nach 11 Uhr (75 Franken); 5. für das versehentliche Mitnehmen von Gegenständen aus der Wohnung (der Wert des Gegenstandes (es wird betont, dass sie alle gezählt werden) plus 50 Franken); 6. für ungewaschenes Geschirr (35 Franken); 7. und wir waren besonders amüsiert: für stark verschmutzte Handtücher oder Bettwäsche (ohne Nennung des Wertes). Am Ende der Liste stand ein grandioser Satz: „Im Schadensfall liegt es am Gast, die Unschuld mit Beweisen zu belegen“. Sicherlich ist das alles aus bitterer Erfahrung geschrieben, aber trotzdem vergiften so viele Drohungen einfach den Aufenthalt. Selbst wenn man nicht raucht, früh abreist und nicht vorhat, den Schlüssel zu verlieren, ist das nicht angenehm.

Excelente Servicio y Calidad

Fuimos en familia a visitar Suiza y tomamos como partida Basilea. Quedamos encantados con el departamento que estaba súper equipado y era muy cómodo y tranquilo! Los anfitriones estuvieron muy pendientes de nuestras necesidades y respondieron muy rápido los mensajes que enviamos con alguna inquietud. El departamento queda muy cerca del centro y la parada de autobús está a 150 metros . Nos recibieron con detalles de Dulces en la entrada, fruta en una cesta y agua. También nos dejaron aceite ,sal y especias y diferentes variedades de café y te . Realmente un 10 estrellas sin duda!.
