Conveniently located in "Japan town" in District 1, this apartment provided the perfect base for exploring HCMC. The host was incredibly responsive to all messages, concerns, or requests. The restaurants and bars in this area were incredible. Walkable to key locations such as the post office, bookstore alley, Independence Palace, and the War Remnants museum.
The apt is above a restaurant that closes at various times. There's a security gate w/ keypad access. We felt very secure and safe but at times we felt perhaps we were inconveniencing the restaurant owners. Additionally, there are stairs to all apts with no elevator access. If you have mobility issues or alot of luggage, please be aware.
