Fox Caravan

Minden tökéletes volt. Lélegzetelállító helyen colt a Caravan,ahol mindem apró részletre figyeltél a szállásadók,hogy jól és otthonosan érezzük magunkat. Az ágy kényelmes volt, és hangulatos a lakóautó. Eszméletlenül kedvesek voltál velünk a házigazdák,közvetlenek és megannyi jó dolgot kaptunk tőlük,kert hálásak vagyunk.🤍 Bármikor visszamennénk ide.

First and foremost, the hosts, Maria and Georgios (and their 2 daughters) were amazing and made us feel at home as if we were family. We stayed 2 nights on 2-4th July 2025 and wish it had been longer! They catered to our every need graciously and with kindness and humor. They supplied a welcome drink and even left drinks for us to use in the Caravan fridge! We are so thankful and were sad to leave them as well as this beautiful piece of Paradise! Fox Caravan is a unique experience based in a breathtaking position on the edge of the Afionas Penninsula. Views directly to the sea surrounded by trees and nature. If you are lucky, you may see the resident fox, hence the name of the Caravan. A separate shower and toilet block sits next to the Caravan for your convenience and comfort. The Caravan is next to the track down to one of the most beautiful beaches of Corfu, Porto Timoni Beach, a double beach at the base of the Penninsula. Approximately an 1/2 hour walk down (cou t in 1/2 hour back) the steep rocky track, so take care and wear good closed shoes! The sunset is stunning!! from a lookout adjacent to the Caravan. The tiny village of Afionas was very quaint with a few nice restaurants. Maria and Georgios run a small Kiosk/Bar which is well stocked with drinks ice blocks and they can freshly cook tasty snacks for you. It would be a dream to visit again without hesitation! 🫶

We unfortunately could not drive our rental car to the Caravan as it was too wide (Nissan Juke) for one short piece of the access road at the village entrance. Small, compact rental cars are recommended anyway for driving around Corfu Island with its many tight, windy roads and tricky parking. Thankfully, Maria and Georgios came to our rescue, and Georgios picked up our luggage and found us free private parking in the village. So, many thanks again for the kindness!! Problem solved! 😀

Einzigartige Lage, fantastische liebe Gastgeber, wunderbare Aussicht!

Le cadre est magnifique et les hôtes très accueillants et prévenants. La caravane est propre et fonctionnelle, agrémentée d’une belle terrasse. La salle de bain est à l’extérieur de la caravane, ce qui permet plus de confort. La terrasse offre une vue exceptionnelle à l’abri des regards et la caravane est super bien située pour le coucher du soleil et pour atteindre la plage de Porto Timoni.

Nous pensions que nous allions être vraiment perdus au milieu de nulle part, avec personne autour. Nous étions en pleine nature, mais le point de vue à l’arrière de la caravane et le chemin menant à la crique sont très fréquentés par les touristes. Nous voyagions en mai, et il y en avait déjà beaucoup. Une fois le soleil couché cependant, il n’y a plus personne autour, à part le renard, les lucioles et les étoiles
