Lovely spot to relax with a beautiful view.

i liked to be on an extreme part of the villa. lovely beach just in front. lovely balcony with beautiful view. pretty cleaned. no TV (didnt felt the need).

the kitchen was to basic. the available area was really small for 2 persons.

Passable

The only advantage is the location: directly in front of the beach with a very beautiful view. The water is very clear but attention!!! It is very cold. Also you need swim shoes because there are stones. Not far from the apartment there are local shops and restaurants. The staff of the hotel are polite and friendly.

I was expecting more from this stay. From time to time there was no hot water. The garbage is taken out every 3 days and we cooked a lot inside, so for 2 days the garbage bin was full and there was a very unpleasant smell. The staff of the hotel also rents the sunbeds. We payed 10€ almost everyday for the sunbeds and we were leaving at lunch and coming back in the afternoon, leaving a towel to show that the sunbeds are occupied. One day when we came back our sunbeds were occupied by other people and our towel was not there anymore.

Love the accommodation friendly staff and great location, just a bit tired

Great location, room very comfortable and the view to the beach was gorgeous

Couldn’t flush toilet paper had to put used toilet paper in a bin. No dishwashing materials had to buy. No bin liners, and door to balcony broken on arrival.

Superb

The house is just at the beach in a quite place. Sea/beach view from terrasse. Big garden compared to other apartments in Corfu. There is no traffic in front of the apartment. Good restaurants and bars at walking distance. Nice beach in front of the house, owner has motorboat rental, so its easy to get to hidden bays with those.

Afionas and Porto Timoni seems to be close on the map but there is a very high hill so we could not go there by foot. This is just an information for those who plan to walk to Afionas or Porto Timoni. The owner helped us get there, took us there with his car and boat at reasonable price so without renting car we could manage to travel.

Very good

The hotel is very very good. The place is 3-5 min near the sea side. The room is clean. We have a studio with the kitchen dotated with everything for cooking. The hotel has a beautiful view. There were towels and all the staff for the beds. You have to take the shower gel and shampoo, it is no offered. The island is very beautifull , the water is sparkling and very pure , but cold. If you like the water of 22 C, it woul be good, for us it seems too cold.

The water in the sea is cold.

Location at north end of Afionas Beach is good; much quieter than south end.

Accommodation is very basic. Cold shower in mornings. No hot water at all in kitchen area. Smelly drains. Rude owner. Shower is so small it is almost unusable. Tap water can not be drunk unless boiled first. This might have been acceptable 30 years ago but is not today.

Fantastic location, clean rooms, beach views and beautiful garden. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned regularly. Short walk to supermarket and Tavernas. Highly recommended!

The Taverna next door has an incredibly annoying Fridge/Air conditioner that turns itself on every 3 minutes 24/7 for about 30 seconds - ruins the peace slightly. I would recommend asking for a room at the other end or the top floor at the other end to avoid this if you are a light sleeper - we stayed in room number 1.

The owner organized free transfer to the bus stop. There is cleaning service every 3 days including changing towels and linen.

The apartment was simple, but nice clean, located on the "silent" side of the bay. The view was amazing! The beach is 50m, you can snorcaring also, becouse there are rock in the near. The hostes were very kinde. If we going next time, we choose again!

Not as expected

View and so the balcony. Take the breath away Nice blinds on windows, so sun completely blocked.

The owner didn’t pick up the phone for a whole time we were traveling from the airport and even when we was on the territory and heard the phone ringing.. but they live right next to the apartments so maybe not such a big deal. First impression was ruined when we tried to boil water on the stove for 1,5 hour (!). Then when I told the owner that stove might be broken I heard “until you came it was fine and now it’s broken?” Then they told me I can take another one in the next room and switch them (service on top). Thanks god, the “new” stove was working. But in kitchen there are no necessary things such a sponge and cleaner to wash the dishes or salt… we have to buy them just for a week of vocation. The shower hose is broken, so as a door to the bathroom (terrible noise while opening and closing. Also on instructions,that came when you book this apartments, was written that we have to take our own trash and throw it in one of the bins along the road, because of the Covid- I get it. But the nearest trash bin located in 920 m! (Of course owners of apartments have their trash bin on the territory, but it locked with chains so only they can use it.) Also consider before booking - laundry wash that is used in this place is highly chemical and provoke allergies (if you have one) The vibe of the place “we kind of don’t care nice it for you or not”

Meine Traum-Terrasse mit Meerblick in absoluter Ruhelage.. Wenn man sich daran gewöhnt, das es nur ein Zimmer mit einem Bett und drüber einem Hochbett anstatt der zwei Schlafzimmer sind, und wenn man aufhört sich zu ärgern weil man für das jetzt definitiv zuviel gezahlt hat (was man ein paar Häuser weiter an Strand zahlt, das seht euch einfach selber an), ja wenn das alles vorbei ist und man die unfreundlichen Gastgeber so gut es geht ignoriert, dann wird dieser Ort echt gut. Man hat einen Parkplatz, es ist Nähe zum Strand, man hat zwar keine Strandliege aber die kann man sich dazu kaufen um 7,50 pro Tag und Person, wenn man blöd ist, oder man nimmt sich vom 300m entfernten Supermarkt einen Schirm um 14 Euro mit. Sehr sauber, alle drei Tage kommt die Putzfrau und macht Betten und tauscht Handtücher. Da kann man echt nichts sagen. Und toller Strand - bessere Wasserqualität habe ich auf der ganzen Insel nicht gesehen.

Die Gastgeber und ihre regeln bzw ihre Angewohnheit, alles von sich zu schieben.

Katastrophal unverschämte Eigentumer

Nur die Lage war in Ordnung.

Absolut unfreundliche Eigentümer. Stellen ständig Regeln auf. Toilettenpapier soll 500 m über den Berg hinauf vom Gast selbst entsorgt werden. Das ist eine bodenlose Frechheit. Kühlschrank brummt so laut, dass man nicht schlafen kann. Abhilfe wurde nicht geschaffen. Wir mussten ihn über Nacht ausschalten. Küchenwasser nur Kaltwasser. 2 Steckdosen für 5 Geräte in der Küche. Kaffee und Kühlschrank zusammen war möglich. Aber Eier kochen war schon nicht mehr möglich. Oder Toaster oder Wasserkocher..Keine Moskitonetze, Türen schließen schlecht und sind schwergängig. Bei Reklamation , da die Putzfrau unsere Toilette mit Putzmittel pink verfärbt hatte, würde sofort versucht uns die Schuld zu geben, da wir dort Creme verteilt hätten. Lächerlich und eine bodenlose Frechheit vom Eigentümer. Der versucht ständig alles von sich zu weisen und auf die Gäste zu schieben. Aber er stellt unzählige Regeln und Schilder auf die man beachten soll. Reinigung, Klimaanlage, kein Sand an den Füssen, Toilettenpapier selbst entsorgen, Mülltrennung, was gar nicht möglich ist, da auf dem Grundstück nur eine Tonne vorhanden war. NIE wieder dieses Appartment. Diese Eigentümer vermiesen den Gästen die Ruhe und Erholung im Urlaub. Katastrophe.

Muss nicht sein

Die Nähe zum Strand und die schöne Aussicht

Auf den Bildern sehen die Anlage und das Appartement wesentlich schöner aus als sie sind. Garten, Eingangsbereich sehr ungepflegt. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber noch akzeptabel, die Matratzen allerdings schlecht. Badezimmer sehr alt, Schrank teils kaputt und nach jeder Dusche ist der Boden überschwemmt. Küche ebenfalls erneuerungsbedürftig. Zimmerreinigung ungenügend und als Gast selbst für die Müllentsorgung zuständig zu sein finde ich unmöglich. Sehr freundlich war besonders die Besitzerin auch nicht - vielleicht lags daran, dass schon September war. Den Preis finde ich für den Zustand zu hoch.
