Good, and good value, but take earplugs!

Nice apartment with plenty of space, good bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Very central location, right in the middle of the Old Town pedestrianized area.

The noise from outside was considerable, but not a huge problem, because it was continuous, with no stand-out, individual sounds or sounds of aggression. More disturbing was the noise from the apartment above, with people walking around *all* night and the floor squeaking. Also the mezzanine floor where the beds are located would be unsafe for young children, since there is no infill at all for the handrail. Similarly, the stairs leading up to the mezzanine floor are not suitable for anyone with any kind of walking impairment. They are quite steep, the handrail is uncomfortable to grip, due to its rectangular profile, and once again there is no infill beneath the handrail. All in all, more suitable for youngish, able-bodied adults!

Great location, few minor details to sort out and would be the perfect low budget stay. Happy to stay again.

The location was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance. Just outside the front door you have a decent amount of bars and restaurants to choose from. Value for money, was good for a couple nights stay.

Although the property was clean, tidy and comfortable, there were many small repairs that required attention. The bathroom door handle was falling off and The wall heater sounds like trickling water all the time. Although equipped for cooking, no pan or spatula was available, nor were bowls. Some reviews mentioned about the loud restaurants and bars below, however we didn’t notice this as much as we noticed the other guests in adjacent rooms. They were quite noisy through the night coming back from town. Doors closing echos through the stairwell.

Never again! KEEP AWAY!!!!

When we arrived at the property i booked @ Grote Markt 33 i was charged extra €5/persoon = €10 for city Tax and they wouldn't give me the codes to come in before receiving that payment, but via booking.com i had already paid city tax. After paying they send me to another property stating that Booking.com made a double booking. Then they send me to Marnixplaats 11 , a considerably smaller property and in not so good conditions, ( a terrible smell of paint, that we came to ind the source of, was a paint roll on a tray still with paint in it, in an open canvas bag on top of the kitchen cupboard) , the property is located In a forbidden parking zone and the nearest parking was +-1 km away from that property. What is the point of planning trips by location and soort of property if in the end I will miles away ?

Reservation no. 4565631642 I was on the 6th of April in Antwerp. We had a football tournament the next morning organised by the Nepalese of Antwerp. I actually was with my entire team in an Airbnb but it was noisy so me and one of my friend decided to stay somewhere else quietly.The reservation was made quite late and It was already 23:30 when we reached the apartment. I then contacted the host on Whatsapp and he asked us to pay the city tax , we were two and paid the city tax of 10 euros for us. Then I send the proof/screenshot of the city tax paid to home&hill to the host via WhatsApp but he never responded back. We got an email of the codes to the door and it didn't worked. The host didn't respond not replied any messages on Whatsapp. It was catastrophe for us. I didn't want to go back where my friends were staying so we looked for another hotel and by 1 o clock in the morning we reached to another hotel and stayed that night there. I never got any refund also losed my money on taxi. I wrote mail and Messages but it was like pouring water in the sand. No reply. These people are the real scammers. be alert ,⚠️⚠️⚠️

We had to pay an extra 5€ per person to get the key, which was not mentioned anywhere before. The apartment had dirty bed linen and towels and no soundproofing at all.

For a night out on the town, perfect place to stay if your going to stay out late

Staying right in the main square was nice. Close to the metro and restaurants. We went out for late dinner and drinks so didn’t mind the noise at night.

The room we had had a separate bathroom in the hall. It was private but with one set of keys it’s annoying.

Veel geld voor een ongezonde kamer.

Vochtplekken in de kamer op de muur. Je rook een muffe geur als je in de kamer kwam. Niet gezond om daar te overnachten. De verwarming deed het niet, het was dus ijskoud op de kamer. Er was tot 4u geluidsoverlast van zware bassen, zelf met oorstoppen slaap je er niet. Ze doen moeilijk om de waarborg terug te geven, moet je echt achterzitten. Wij hebben de kamer netjes achtergelaten maar ze zeggen dat ze technische fouten ondervinden en dat je zelf contact moet opnemen met stripe. Terwijl zij hiermee een contract hebben en dus zelf contact moeten opnemen met deze instantie. Dit is niet klantvriendelijk.

Fijn verblijf

Het appartement was netjes en kwam goed overeen met de beschrijving. Alles wat nodig was, was aanwezig en de locatie was praktisch. De check-in verliep vlot en de communicatie met de host was duidelijk. Al bij al een aangenaam verblijf en een goede keuze voor wie in de buurt moet zijn.

Heel leuke plaats, wij hebben lekker geslapen ik als lawaai maar wij hebben daar niets van gemerkt. Het was ook heel proper, ik zou zeggen pluim voor het team. Leuk dat er ook tv was.

Mieszkanie w samym centrum historycznej Antwerpii. Łazienka z prysznicem walk in.

Zapach z kanalizacji. Niedziałająca płyta indukcyjna. Problem z wejściem do mieszkania (podano zly kod do otwarcia skrytki z kluczem). Kontakt z obiektem na whatsapp ale niestety z „botem” który odpowiadał automatycznie i często nie na temat. W piątek było naprawdę głośno przez całą noc.

мы заселились в эту коасивую квартиру в самом сердце города с панорамным видом уровня "люкс" как заявляет хозяин. Попав в квартиру сы были в полнейшем шоке. за окнами натянуты строительные леса, прямо перед наши окном спальни какой-то мужчина осуществлял работы. Он предупредил нас что есу нудно еще немного пораьотать, а завтратон начнут в 9 утра. Тем самым дав понять что наши окна должны быть всегда закрыты. Я связалась с владельцем выскащала своё недовольство и попросила компенсацию, на что заявил, что эта квартира и так отлана нам со скидкой 50% и ремонт не должен нам мешать вы мы будем гулять а не сидеть в квартире. Это отвратительное отношения без уважения к своим клиентам. мои выходные испорчены, в квартире пахнет стройкой и закрыты окна. это ужасное жилье абсолбтно не соотвествуещее описанию и не стоит своиж денег. Ужасное жилье, не рекомендую. Были в ноябре с 10 по 12

Locatie is perfect voor het uitgaan. Het was allemaal netjes en nieuw

Als je niet van lawaai houdt is het niet de juiste locatie. We hadden voor 6 personen geboekt en toen we daar aankwamen waren er maar bedden opgemaakt voor 4 personen. De slaapbank moesten we zelf nog opmaken.. kost veel tijd voor 1 nacht.

Prima voor 1 nacht, maar niet langer.

De locatie is echt top, midden in het centrum, maar wel heel gehorig. Bar ernaast ging tot 6 uur ‘s ochtends door.

Niet optijd de sleutel ontvangen, slechte communicatie en betaald voor een early check in, maar de schoonmaakster was nog bezig en wist van niks. Verder ook best karig ingericht. Badkamer was buiten de kamer dus je moest via de gang erheen. Dat is niet handig.

Mooi van binnen badkamer ook erg mooi

De badkamer en toilet zaten aan de overkant van de gedeelde gang, ook als je beneden binnenkomt kom je eerst in een bouwvak terecht! Het is er vies!! En heel erg stoffig! Bedden waren vies en lagen nog haren in! Muren zijn zo dun dat je alles kan horen!

Super!!

Voor het geld wat je betaald een heel mooi en netjes appartement. Ziet er erg luxe en modern uit. Alles was ook netjes schoon.

Vooraf ging het niet helemaal goed met de code voor het sleutel kluisje, maar dat werd al heel snel opgelost toen we contact opzochten. Ook mistte we alleen een wc-papier houder in de wc.

Wat erg vervelend was, was de communicatie via de chat. Onvriendelijk, danwel onbeschoft. Er was zoveel om te lezen in de automatisch gegeneerde berichten dat het gewoonweg onduidelijk was. Na een vriendelijk bericht van mij dat ik iets niet goed had begrepen, kreeg ik terug dat ik goed moest lezen! Mijn vriendin en ik konden het nog steeds niet vinden (code om binnen te komen) Toen kwam het verwijt dat we citytax eerder hadden moeten overmaken. Maar omdat er steeds automatische berichten kwamen, was het heel onduidelijk. Daarna via whatsapp contact gehad en deze medewerker was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Verder stond de verwarming aan in het appartement en kon deze niet uit. Niet fijn bij 25 graden.

Goede prijs-kwaliteit voor een nachtje

Goede locatie, midden in de stad. Appartement was schoon en netjes. Er was duidelijke communicatie over de bereikbaarheid van het appartement.

Erg gehorig, de andere bezoekers zijn goed en duidelijk hoorbaar in het appartement. Echter was er ‘s ochtends geen warm water meer in de douche, wat ongunstig was.

Ein betrügerischer Reinfall!

Diese Unterkunft nicht buchen! Wir fanden einen leeren Locker ohne Schlüssel vor und sind somit gar nicht erst in die Unterkunft gekommen. Jeglicher Kontakt war vergebens, wir haben bis heute keine Antwort erhalten noch unser Geld zurückerstattet bekommen.

Alles. Wir fanden keine Schlüssel vor und mussten wieder abreisen. Das Unternehmen kommt seinen Pflichten nicht nach und erstattet dann auch kein Geld!
