⚠️ Very disappointing experience at SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan Times Square
I’m still staying here, and unfortunately, this has been one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had.
When we first arrived, the room was extremely small, and the AC was not working. Thankfully, the lady at reception was very supportive and professional. She listened to us and moved us to another room on the 21st floor. I really appreciate her help.
Unfortunately, the second room had an even bigger problem. Around 6:00 AM, we discovered water leaking from the ceiling, with water all over the bathroom.
We then spoke with the manager Joseph, and this is where the experience became even more disappointing. I found his attitude very rude and unhelpful. Instead of trying to find a solution or showing concern for the situation, I was simply told to take my luggage downstairs and leave it at reception until another room became available.
I tried to explain the situation and asked if we could find some kind of reasonable compensation, such as a refund for one or two nights or having the parking fee waived. I was told that nothing would be provided, and when I tried to discuss the situation further, I was told that he didn’t have time to speak with me.
I’m extremely disappointed. Problems can happen in any hotel, but what matters is how management handles them. The lack of support and professionalism completely ruined our morning and affected our family’s experience.
I hope Marriott looks into this situation, because guests deserve better communication, respect, and support when something goes seriously wrong.

Very disappointing stay. The room was extremely small and nothing like what is shown in the pictures online. The bathroom was cramped to the point of being uncomfortable. Housekeeping was poor—we had to repeatedly remind the staff just to get the room cleaned. Overall, the experience was far below expectations and not worth the price. Would not recommend this hotel.

This was a trip for my granddaughter's 16th birthday and first trip to NYC. The property was clean, location half a block to Times Square and close to the subway stops. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends.
