The property was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location was nice and quiet with lovely views. Durham centre was easily accessible - just a short drive. Basics such as tea, coffee, cooking oil, toilet rolls, soap were all supplied including half a dozen fresh farm eggs and a lovely home made honey and walnut cake - still warm to the touch when we arrived. Our host was very helpful and responsive to any queries.

Location has lovely views. Property is in a quiet location and furnished to a very comfortable standard.
Satnav took us needlessly across a farm track to find the property. Just something to beware of.

Lovely welcome, thank you! Very spacious, well equipped house with super views across the valley. Cows, swallows and a hare for company when walking down towards the river. Great location for exploring Durham and County Durham generally.
