The pictures of the listing/ad does not do any justice of how the property actually is. Our stay was nothing short of spectacular, with Lucy’s welcoming nature making it the cherry on top! The house was furnished and is designed in a unique way and was overly spacious. For example, there was 3 TV’s/living rooms, and has everything you need (e.g. all kinds of kitchen equipment, dishwasher, all kinds of drink cups e.g. wine cups, laundrette room, extra sofa bed, extra Harry Potter room and the list keeps going!). The jacuzzi is amazing - we used it every day and used the outdoor dining area. There is a lot of opportunity for adventure within and around the property (e.g. farm and uphill views) with supermarkets only 10 min drive… Lucy over accommodated our requests and was extremely reasonable. They have everything you can imagine - from board games to all kinds of glasses and extra towels etc… I would extremely recommend this property for staycations… I will definitely stay here again if I visit Durham/Newcastle!

House was excellent and kitchen had everything you could ask for. Hot tub was great, views from house were amazing. Beds were really comfortable.

The internet was a bit disappointing. The approach road has a lot of potholes to avoid.
