The location is beautiful wish I’d have had more time to explore The host and village were so welcoming Couldn’t have asked for anything better

Really spacious property with all the facilities we needed for a 2 night stay. We were attending a wedding in Durham and the property was great value for money and just a short drive from Durham centre. Friendly welcome from the pub staff who showed us round the property and even had the bonus of a little welcome package with some food and treats – really appreciated that! Plenty of space for the 6 of us.

Very spacious apartment. Plenty of room for all. Beds comfy and large lounge. Helpful to have 2 bathrooms. Kitchen provided all that you need.

The hosts were extremely personable and friendly. We had not booked a table for dinner and did not arrive until 7pm however Steve fit 4 of us in to eat in the restaurant and what a delight it was. The food was amazing, good home cooked food in an extremely friendly environment and amazing value for money (large portions). This was some of the best food we've had in a pub for some time. Would definitely visit again as there's plenty to do in the area.
