Very comfortable, everything needed. Hosts were very friendly. Pub downstairs was a dream - great food. Good location for Durham and Kynren. We’d definitely stay again.

Super Super property above the best pub in the world! Firstly, the apartment is so spacious, and the hosts left us a collection of welcome gifts, bread, milk, cereal, which was so helpful. Its so comfy and welcoming, two bathrooms which is great for the number of rooms. The best bit is the pub below, my goodness, the food! its the best pub food we have ever eaten, they have the most incredible chef, all the food is home cooked and they have specials on every nice. We ate there each night. The owners are so friendly, made us feel so welcome. Its a real must stay if you are trying to find somewhere in the area. Thank you for making us feel at home and my favourite was the Chilli! Keep doing what you are doing!

The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable with plenty of space! The kitchen is modern and we likes the 2 bathrooms. The food in the pub was lovely and it was really friendly. The staff were also really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great for a visit to Beamish which is well worth afew days to fully appreciate.

Very little to not like, it was a little loud but it was above a pub so expected and was quiet after last orders.

Location, what’s not to like being above a pub when the service, food and drink are all excellent. TIP - Book a table in advance as they are usually very busy over the weekend. The accommodation is spot on for a couple, family or friends to all be together, all very homely and the welcoming basket, milk, cereal, T&C, was the icing on the cake. No hesitation in recommending this property and hosts.

The hot water is very hot which can catch people out, and the mixer tap in the bathroom is stiff to operate. I am being picky as there is nothing we really didn’t like.
