Appartement spacieux avec de beaux volumes et charme de l’ancien au 3 eme étage sans ascenseur.
Proche de vieux Lille, proche de la station de tramway Romarin.
Environnement calme, pas de problème de voisinage
Le confort et le niveau d’équipement ne sont pas en adéquation avec le prix de la nuit.
Le système de récupération des clés n’est pas pratique. Les clés doivent être récupérées dans une boîte à clés située à plusieurs rues de l’appartement, et non sur place.
Une caution est demandée après réservation, ce qui n’est pas mentionné dans l’annonce.
La température de l’appartement etait réglée à 19 °C et n’est pas modulable( boîtier sous clé). Cette température s’est révélée trop basse pour nous en hiver. L’absence de couvertures supplémentaires est également un point négatif pour les personnes frileuses.

Emplacement parfait pour se rendre à la Braderie à pied, et dormir au calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La colocation avec une amie fut parfaite !
La qualité du ménage n’est pas au niveau : bouilloire non vidée, certains interrupteurs sont un peu encrassés, des toiles d’araignées aux fenêtres, les vitres de la cuisine sont sales, les poussières un peu négligées…

No face-to-face contact with anyone but excellent communication via email leading up to the trip. All messages were answered quickly. Keys were collected from a lock box around 100 metres from the property.
The location is a quiet residential neighbourhood a little way outside the centre (less than 1km) but only a 10-15 stroll from the Eurostar Station.
The apartment is large, clean and well equipped. It is on the 3rd floor accessed by a narrow and steep staircase. People with limited mobility will struggle. For those who can handle the stairs it's worth it.
The area around the apartment has a few bars and restaurants. L'Irish Bar is a typical 'pub' atmosphere with a good range of beers and good service. There's also a nice bar in the Jardin des Geants with outside seating. Food wise we tried Le Nouvel Atelier (a chic restaurant 100 metres away) and Domus Sicilia (busting Italian restaurant). Both were excellent.
We got bitten very badly by mosquitos whilst in the area. Jardin des Geants is a large garden with lots of water and bamboo plants - a great habitat for insects.
Clearly not the fault of the apartment - just a suggestion to take some insect repellent.
