I stayed with a friend for one night. Great apartment in a historic building near the cathedral. The views from the apartment and the rooftop terrace are incredible. The apartment is spacious and furnished with antiques. The host was communicative before and during the trip. I would recommend it, but note that in summer there is no A/C, per the listing.

We loved our stay at La Regina Historic House. The view of the Sassi is incredible, especially from the rooftop terrace! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated and Simona was such a nice and kind host, who was available to answer any questions! We loved our visit to Matera and enjoyed dinner at La Lopa. Traditional and delicious.

Everything! Our hosts were amazing, assisting us with parking and transport of luggage to and from the apartment. Well appointed, beautifully furnished, spacious, with an amazing rooftop patio. The location is perfect and the views are unbelievable.
