A great Villa Rustic !
The sightseeing is breathtaking! The view of the mountains and valley from the front door is simply amazing. The area is surrounded by hiking spots and a beautiful blue-green river, where you can explore scenic trails through the forest. The pool, though shared with other villas, felt cozy as we had it to ourselves during our stay. The villa is pleasantly cool without the need for air conditioning, making for a comfortable night's sleep. In the evenings, we enjoyed barbecuing in the lovely weather. Despite daytime temperatures reaching 36°C, the evenings were pleasantly windy and cool, unlike the heat in the city. A fantastic restaurant offering local cuisine is just a 15-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) away. There are several local markets nearby, and a larger supermarket in Modena is within driving distance. We were initially concerned about driving to the mountain, but the roads were not too narrow, and despite the fast-driving locals, we navigated safely even with trucks and tractors sharing the road. Special thanks to our host, Alessandro, who was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable!
