Luxury villa vibes

The building next door was extremely loud and disturbing. Meant to have a luxury villa vibe and we were not even communicated that nail guns and shouting was going to be occurring on a building where people could literally look into our property. Simply providing ear plugs were not sufficient to drawn out the loud and scary noises of a drill gun in which people use protective ear wear for.

Very good location, but still very calm and quite at night. The villa was perfect, even better then we had thought. Nice private pool and it even has a kitchen. Was also great to book surf classes through the connected surf house.

Very helpful staff, luxury villa, would definitely recommend to people visiting Bali.

Bedroom is not very soundproof could hear chickens from about 3am.

Unfortunately on arrival we were told we couldn’t use the pool until the next day which was fine (the pool looked dirty and green), it wasn’t until the third day out of our five day stay we could actually use the pool in our villa which was a huge disappointment. After speaking with the manager we agreed on a partial refund. The outdoor bathroom had a very bad smell from day one they sent staff to sort it out which helped for a bit but still smelt very bad. It was in a really good location and bedroom was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Fridge wasn’t very good had to use freezer to keep most things cold and knifes were rusty so we didn’t use (found a gecko in our fridge on the last day). One morning we had staff come into the villa unannounced in which we had to ask reception to let us know if people were going to come into the villa in which they agreed. Construction going on until 12 at night but this was expected as Uluwatu has a lot of construction. Great that they had a scooter organised for us to use when we arrived.

Pool issues, smell in bathroom, barely cold fridge.
