Peaceful garden bungalow

This accomodation is so peaceful and quiet. The whole location is just bliss - a huge garden courtyard almost. Walking distance to cashew tree but unfortunately bingin beach at end of driveway is now no access :(

Although the shower is nice and hot - the stones made no sense to us and there was no drainage so our bathroom flooded after each shower. There’s no front desk and getting in touch with the property was near impossible before arriving. However the staff that are walking around every now and then were very lovely and helpful.

Lovely stay, not central.

Very beautiful setting, big room and comfortable bed.

Although the rooms were cleaned daily, the sheets were stained before our arrival and not changed. The mosquito net was also quite dusty. It was hard to find the personnel unless face to face but they were very kind. Regarding the location, now that Bingin beach is demolished, there is not much to do within walking distance. A scooter or taxi is required for reaching the busier areas (keep in mind, Uluwatu is hilly and without street lighting at night).

Good location and clean, but too warm and loud in the room

Good location, well maintained property, clean and very friendly staff.

The room was full of mosquitos, the aircon did not keep the room cold, there are a lot of frogs and crickets in the garden which are really loud and echo throughout the room at night.

The accommodation was as described. It is basic, but good value for what you get.

The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly. They have a water cooler dispenser which was really nice. Walking distance to Bingin Beach. Nice pool and beautiful garden.

There was a crow that woke us up early in the morning, but the following night we used ear plugs and then it was not a problem. Communal kitchen needs a good clean.

Quiet, clean, relaxed place to stay.

Bathroom was cool with it being outside but still private, huge room and bed. Great storage for clothes and bags. Good terrace outside the room. Cooled water cooler available. Nice pool. Lovely cute kittens! Room cleaned daily bins emptied and bed made.

Do not stay here! The host peeps over the fence while you're using the outdoor bathroom!!!

Location was good

Lets start with the "smallest" problem - it was a dirty mess. But what far outweighed our bad experience with the place's hygene was the fact that we caught a member of the host family peeping over the concrete wall of the outdoor bathroom, STANDING ON A LADDER that appeared to be placed for this purpose on the other side. When my fiancee saw the old man peeping over the fence, right after he and I both used the bathroom, the old man quickly hid, but then he found him still crouching on the ladder on the other side of the wall. When he confronted him on the spot, he just said "okay, okay..." as he was backing away. Then after a few minutes he knocked on the door and claimed he was just looking for his cat. I felt disgusted and completely unsafe for the rest of the night and couldnt wait to leave the next morning. I was only willing to take a shower because my fiance stood guard next to the fence. Unbelievable. Photo attached of the ladder my fiancee found to prove Im not making this up. We reported the incident to Booking.com but it's still under investigation.

Alamanda Bingin a hidden gem!

We liked the individual villas, the pool and the staff. Our villa was comfortable and with plenty of room. The location was good to all restaurants, beach and shops. A scooter is recommended to hire.

They was no fridge, safe or TV in the rooms. The pool furniture needs upgrading and more available. Sun umbrellas around the pool would be good.

Location is good, walk distance to the beach (10-15min). Nice cute property and very quiet.

Not very clean, bed sheets and towels with stain, floors also not very clean. Head shower broken and over dated. Also the door doesn’t have net so mosquitos, spider and other will get in the room. Don’t expect tooth paste, conditioning, face towel and etc. no fridge and also no check in… you just arrive and the guy show your room (funny but I got a little confused).

A calm, peaceful, wonderful place with great host. Close to the beach and cafes. We loved the place.

I don’t know where to start… We loved everything about this place! The area is clean, Agus and his mother are wonderful human beings! They were very much welcoming and friendly, and made our stay there just great! I liked the grass, walking barefoot on it was cool, the frangipani trees - wow, the smell was great. There is a kitchen area accessible to people staying at Alamanda. The only thing I would recommend for people coming to Bingin area is to manage the expectations. It is not fair to expect a TV, kettle or own kitchen with a price offered by this place. Though for this price you get a nice room, access to the kitchen and fridge, pool, a nice area and what’s important- wonderful people ready to help.

Comfortable for the price and great location but not my cup of tea.

Location was amazing, nice quite place, room was clean and well decorated. Beautiful grounds, right near Cashew Tree and a 10 min walk to the beach. The outdoor bathrooms are a nice touch. Staff we're super lovely and the room was ready early. Still super good value for money.

Pool wasn't clean and there are a lot of bugs in the bedroom because it's more of an indoor/outdoor traditional vibe. There's no tea/coffee in the rooms and the outdoor shared kitchen is pretty dirty unfortunately. Still think that some people would love it here, it's just not my first choice.

You are 8 min away from Bingin beach which is the best beach in Uluwatu . The hotels location is perfect and super quiet and great value for what it is . And the cute little kittens .

Beautiful garden, the house is clean. Good location. We (our kids) liked the new version of the house (the one with the big windows). You may need to specify this when booking.

1) Houses of different quality. We had an old version with wooden windows (it's dark, the window can't be opened in the evening/at night because there are mosquitoes). The children had a new, more spacious house with normal windows and better plumbing. The prices for the houses are the same. 2) I have long hair, and I didn't have enough hot water. As a result, washing ended with a cold shower. 3) There are no dishes in the house, there is no kettle. It would be nothing, there is a shared kitchen. But this kitchen is very dirty. Thanks to the guys from the previous review for the new dish sponge:). 4) On Saturday at 8 a.m. we were woken up by a noise.As I understood it, there was some kind of religious holiday. OK, we understand all this, and we respect the traditions of the countries we visit. But why are there 30+ people on the territory of the villas (not the temple nearby, but the villa!) at 8 a.m. ? They are sitting on the porch of our villa and talking loudly. I want to sleep at this time. In general, why are there outsiders on the territory? Not employees, not tourists. At least you should have warned us about the holiday and the morning guests. As a maximum, this is a violation of tourists' personal space. I understand that this is economy class accommodation and everything happens, and we are all different, I saw a lot of good reviews when booking. But I would not recommend booking it.

Peaceful garden setting with a nice pool to chill by. Communal open kitchen if you want to rustle up some food. Villa had a lovely spacious bath/shower room. Mini mart and scooter hire 5 minutes walk away.

The location is perfect, 5 min walk to Bingin beach down a private path, no need for any driving there. It's also close to nice cafes and restaurants with affordable food. The staff are very nice, property is very beautiful, and the bed was comfy with a mosquito net (very necessary).

While the property was cleaned very well before arriving, one evening we came back and there were giant ants shedding their wings everywhere in our room. Typically we always close our suitcases before leaving our room just in case this were to happen so it didn't get in our stuff, and I'm glad we did. We also saw a snake on the property one night. It's Bali so these things are to be expected, but if you are not the most nature-oriented then maybe I would stay else where.

On the surface it looked nice but delving deeper it was like a homestay without any benefits.

Access to the beach and Warungs.

No fridge or tea making facilities. Nice looking bathroom , open on sink side so when it rained was walking in water. No one around so I ended up getting a mop which was resting against a tree and mopped it. Couldn’t carry bucket over. No fridge in room. Left a beer in the fridge and it disappeared in the night. Was nowhere near worth the money we paid about$72AUD

Amazing place, people and location 🌸

I can’t say how much I loved staying at Alameda Bingin. It’s was everything I was expecting and more. The staff is lovely, the place is gorgeous and location was great for me. Close to a beautiful bamboo hut for massages, close to the cashew tree for food and walking distance from bingin beach which is amazing for sunsets. It’s close to everything by bike (I grabbed grab bikes) and the area is quiet and beautiful to walk around. Thank you for everything! They did a clean of the room everyday, the ac worked amazing and the bathroom with the tub was too notch

The place was stunning. Clean, beautifully presented and the bed was so comfy. The mosquito net was also a bonus. A nice walk to the beach and shops. Although I would always recommend renting a bike so you can explore more.

Everything was fabulous but if there is one small suggestion I could make is to provide some drinking glasses in the room. Filtered water is available on tap. Staff were delightful.
