Swiss kiss beach resort

Wir hatten eine bessere Hütte, die hatte ein tolles Ambiente bzgl der Ausstattung romantisch 😁! Das außenklo muss man mögen, aber wir fanden super, wie die außendusche auch. Frühstück war eher Continental, aber wenn man singhalesisch bestellt hat, wars der Hammer- mit String hopper, diese coconut String hopper, rotis, dhal, coconut sambal und natürlich fruit Plate! Super gut! Die Lage ist schön ruhig, ein paar Schritte zum Strand mit einem super Restaurant (serviert auch am Vollmond hier im 1. Stock 😉) und wenige tuktuk Minuten nach Trincomalee. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ottima posizione vicino al mare e struttura e personale accogliente

Servirebbe maggiore attenzione alla pulizia. I tappeti della camera erano un po’ sporchi e non erano stati sostituiti. E servirebbe qualche salvietta in più perché c’erano solo due salviette grandi per la doccia.

Het was een accommodatie op een hele fijne plek dicht bij het strand. Het personeel was vriendelijk.

Door de natuurlijke wandbekleding is er in de huisjes een goede verstop plek voor insecten.

This place is great if you are into camping/glamping/beach hut/hostelling. We had booked a deluxe double room and the owner upgraded us for free to one of the beach huts, which was very nice of him. He was lovely, and could not do enough for us. The other staff members didnt speak enough English to communicate with us fully. The hut itself looked really cute, with sweet decorations on the bed and nice furnishings. The furnishings were clean but I asked for a deeper clean of the room as I noticed cobwebs in certain areas. The bed was huge but I found it uncomfortable, I think it was memory foam which personally I don't like, so I sank into it. There was great air conditioning in the hut. The beach hut had an indoor sink and an outdoor shower and toilet. This looked great and was nice in theory, but in reality the design made it a heat trap with no air flow. It was way too hot outside to make it pleasant using the toilet, for me as a woman, my male partner didn't mind as much. Even at night it was too hot. It also was full of bugs and mosquitos, which is a shame when we had a mosquito repellent plug in the main hut, to then go and be bitten using the toilet. The outside shower worked better with the temperature extremes. I would have suggested that only the shower be outside, the toilet and sink should both be inside. However, I think the owner should consider installing a fan in the outside bathrooms that can be put on over the toilet. As this was a beach hut, we were very much at one with nature. Unfortunately I am a light sleeper and this meant I was woken up every day by birds at 5am, which didnt stop, and bits of tree fell on the roof of the hut periodically through the night. Sometimes the bangs of tree bits were loud enough to wake me. Then monkeys would come and jump on the roof too. So we didnt sleep well. If you are a heavy sleeper or can fall back asleep easily then this won't bother you, sadly this was not the case for me.

The sheets and towels are on their last legs and begging to be replaced. Our bedsheet had a hole in it and all the sheets and towels had stains on them, and the towels were very threadbare. Please replace them! Also would be good to clean the tables and chairs in the breakfast area - I wiped the chair once and the napkin came away black...
