Efjord and Stetind Resort - Cabin Kulhorn

Absolutely stunning location with breathtaking views. Super nice outdoor terrace. Everything was super clean and had this modern scandinavian feel about it.

Few things to note before you book: - the biggest issue is with the floor to ceiling windows which are indeed lovely for the views but in its upper section can not be covered at all, resulting in light coming in during the night (bear in mind that during summer it never gets dark in this area and you can have sun almost 24/7); at least eye-blinds should be provided in such case; - we had some problems with the door lock (could not be closed); - the cabin had some kitchen products / food etc. (we assume left by previous guests) which is nice, however this seemed to be a bit chaotic with some of them over their expiry date etc.; - we could not contact the host during our stay (to perhaps find any way around the above issues) - while we had a brief call prior our arrival (and the host was very nice and helpful) he did not reply to our calls, sms's during our stay.

The keys to the property were in a key box, the code to the key box was supplied by the host

At a glance, the one bedroom definition leads me to believe there is a room with a bed in it, this is not the case here. I slept on the sofa bed, which is not good for an old guy with a bad back. I could have climbed a wooden ladder to a crawl loft with a mattress, but again old guy and bad back, doesn’t work out too well.

Mycket trevlig värd. Välstädat. Känsla av gästvänlighet. Otroligt, makalöst vacker utsikt från husets altan och genom de stora fönstren.

Det fanns en närhet till landsvägen som vi undrade kring, men vi tyckte sedan inte att det var trafikstört som vi hade befarat.

Stor varmtvannstank. Flott utsikt. Godt utstyrt kjøkken, med stort kjøleskap og fryseboks. Idyllisk plassering. Rolig sted, selv om trafikk fra E6 høres. Godt utgangspunkt for tur til Verdenssvaet og Kjerna.

Ingen lystette gardiner på vinduer øvre del på stua. Ingen gardiner foran vindu ved kjøleskapet eller i ytterdøra - gir fullt innsyn når vi sover hvis noen kommer på trappa. Solskjerming fungerer ikke. Var 30 grader inne da vi ankom kl 17. Ingen mulighet for å ta ned utvendige persienner. Sengeklær ikke reid opp. Sen innsjekk. Klokka over inngangsdøra har stoppa.
