Charming Condo one block from the beach - WR 301

The room was huge! There was even a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster, plates, utensils- everything you need! And a washer and dryer. It was a great beach rental- just cross the road and you were there!

It was pretty musty smelling and room 301 has a second door and that really threw us off when we got there. And there wasn't any way to get a hold of the owner- that would have helped.

The location was great, right by the beach.

When we checked in we immediately saw that the A/C unit in the main kitchen/living room area (the biggest area of the condo) was not powering on at all. Also the fridge wasn't cooling at all (my stick of butter was melted and squishy). Also there were several broken drawers in the kitchen. We called the host that was on call that day and she said she called maintenance to come look at the A/C, but no one showed up. It was around 85° and super hot. That night I messaged support and called at least 5 more times the next day before I was able to get a lady to help and transfer us to a different unit that had a working A/C and fridge. The support team I sent the message to only responded on the day I already checked out, that they were working on the A/C situation. It was very hard to sleep the first night and some our food went bad, but after we were transferred to a different unit our experience was pretty decent. Just would be nice if the units weren't rented out until its made sure that everything is in working condition. The location is very nice.
