The house is located along the ancient Viking trail “långhundra,” which features several exciting ancient monuments.
Åkersberga is a coastal town in the beautiful Stockholm archipelago, where you’ll find great shopping. Åkersberga is a coastal town located just 25 minutes north of Stockholm. Åkersberga offers several restaurants and a typical-sized town center. You can walk from the house to the nearest grocery store and restaurant. Or you can simply follow the hiking and biking trails that run along the canal for several kilometers. In the summer, you can visit the Åkersbro Café, which is just 200 meters from the house. Here you can enjoy a coffee with pastries or a light lunch. You can also rent a canoe or kayak there for longer excursions.
Try one of the ferries to visit the 10,000 Islands.
Within a radius of just 5 km, you’ll find three of Sweden’s best golf courses. The lake in front of the house is connected to the Baltic Sea if you follow the canal and use the lock, which is over 200 years old. You don’t need a boat to get to one of our beautiful beaches for a swim in the sea.
