Welcome to 201 East Hudson! Nestled amidst the island's vibrant energy, this cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it your ideal escape for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or friends' reunion.
Upon arriving at the home you will be greeted with a bright inviting open floor plan; combining the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living area has flat-screen Smart TV and comfortable seating options. The 4 person dining table is great for a family meal or game night. Prepare delicious meals with ease in the well-appointed kitchen, featuring all the essential appliances and cookware.
The king bedroom has a smart TV, porch access, and workspace. The queen bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, porch access, and a soaking tub with an in-room bathroom. A second bathroom has a walk-in shower and can be found just off the hallway. All beds are made with fresh, high quality linens. Bath towel sets are provided for each guest for the maximum occupancy of the home. The washer/dryer is located by the larger, back bedroom for convenience.
The back of the house is our favorite hang-out spot. Unwind on the breezy screened in porch while taking in the calming sounds of nature. The fully enclosed backyard is an ideal play spot for the kids and pets! Rinse off the sand under the outdoor shower, an invigorating way to end a perfect beach day.
This home is located on East Hudson, a quiet section of the island. Beach access and restaurants are 5 blocks away. Explore the vibrant downtown Folly Beach area, where endless possibilities for fun and adventure await. Discover local treasures at charming shops and boutiques, savor fresh seafood at delectable restaurants, and unwind with live music at lively bars and clubs. Take dolphin watching, shelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing tours from various companies based on Folly Beach. Rent bicycles for an alternate way to travel around the island. Wander down on the far east end of the island to the Morris Island Lighthouse beach - a favorite among locals and visiting guests! There is parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Additional vehicles must find off-street parking where available and follow the City of Folly Beach rules. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am.
Amenities include washing machine and dryer, modern kitchen appliances, charcoal grill, central heat and air conditioning, free WIFI, keyless entry, linens, towel sets, and smart TVs. A starter amenity kit for bathrooms and kitchen are provided that guests replenish as they need. Home is pet-friendly with $125 + tax pet fee per pet. Maximum 2 pets allowed. Home is strictly non-smoking! Must be 25 years old or older to rent, no exceptions. Property has 24-hr on-call maintenance services and is managed by a property management company. Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

Property was managed so well by Carolina One and we felt not only were they flexible with us when they could be (early check in with two senior dogs) but responsive when the code stopped working. They handled the cleaning and set up of the property and it was extremely clean. We loved the location (although it should be noted it is in a very active spot on a corner with lots of walking and driving traffic ). Since it was winter and windows were closed we could not hear any noise at night, but I can't say how it would be in the summer. The screened in porch was great and we used it daily. It was great being diagonal from Chio Feo for relaxed live music in the evening, and the proximity to Bert's was wonderful for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The only thing that differed from photos and listing was in the winter the landscaping is sparse, and with loose dirt and dust, which means if you have dogs or children it can be and a challenge not to bring dirt into the house. But that was minor overall, and pavers and paths were helpful. As was the outside shower for sand.We LOVED the fenced in yard, the provided waste bags for convenience and that it was dog friendly for our pups. Folly is in general a welcoming community and we loved our time here.

Great cozy beach bungalow on Folly close to everything! My husband, myself and our dog Bella and grown daughter stayed here for 3 nights a few days ago. Another great rental- great communication from hosts, easy check in/out! The home was represented well-no surprises! Comfy beds, storage and full kitchen if needed. We enjoyed the screen porch and outdoor area as well as our golden retriever in the fully fenced in yard -so great for dog owners! 5 minute walk to beach, Berts and our favorite restaurants! We look forward to our next visit!
