Hosts very welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Gave advice on places to visit, which is great if you don't know the area. Location very peaceful, and nice to be able to park right outside, and very central to all the area.

We had the most wonderful week at The Lantern Tree! On arrival, we were greeted by the really lovely and friendly hosts, who had left a cream tea for us to enjoy! They also had some great suggestions on places to visit. The accommodation itself was absolutely immaculate and very comfortable - we all slept very well! Everything you needed was provided and there was plenty of space. If you're looking for a great base to explore South Devon, I'd definitely recommend The Lantern Tree.

Loved our little break away at the Lantern Tree. Sarah and Frances were lovely too and only a message away should you need anything.Beds were really comfortable and was just like a home from home....but with amazing views.Beaches are 7 min drive away, same with places to eat. If your looking for a relaxed get away or even a break with the kids then I would definitely recommend and we can't wait to go again once weve had our little one. They even had stair gates for kids so thought of everything. :)

We really enjoyed our stay, with the location perfect for a variety of days out. My husband was concerned about the proximity to the A380 but were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. The garden and countryside made a beautiful view to look at from kitchen, living room and main bedroom. There is no standard oven and being old fashioned the air fryer was beyond me. The WiFi was poor, however I am forward enough to have a phone that got 4G ok. My sister however didn't manage to connect at all while we were there. Please reread my first comments though as the location is perfect. And the hosts are absolutely wonderful!
