I Due Trulli - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4

Wrapped in the charm of stone, the "Due Trulli" evoke ancient memories of a bygone era. A short distance from the crystalline waters of Salento, about a kilometer and a half from the beaches of Pescoluse, there is an elegant and spacious stone structure whose central part is made up of two typical trulli in the shape of a truncated cone, called "pajare ” in Salento, each of these distinguished by environment. As soon as you cross the (manual) gate you seem to be projected into another dimension where the large and elegant wooden portico with tile roofing forms the backdrop to an ornamental and well-kept garden, embellished with fruit trees, a lovely vegetable garden cultivated with typical vegetables of the area, available to guests, a comfortable drying rack sheltered by a hedge, a beautiful brick barbecue where you can grill on warm summer evenings. The main body is made up of the two characteristic trulli/pajare which represent the sleeping area; each of them consists of a double bedroom: the largest trullo, renovated and enlarged, has remote-controlled air conditioning and has an adjoining large bathroom with shower; the smallest trullo, also double, is original with a domed stone ceiling and remote-controlled porthole, has a large window and adjoining bathroom with shower. Thanks to the thick walls of the trulli, the internal environment is still fresh and healthy. The bathrooms also have windows. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The porch connects the rooms and the eat-in kitchen equipped with every utensil including the dishwasher and to the laundry room where the water heaters and the washing machine are positioned as well as the shelves necessary for placing pillows and anything else, this room is also useful for put away your suitcases (for those who don't like keeping them in the bedrooms). There is also a third outdoor stone shower with hot and cold water. To conclude, as a further touch of elegance, there is a beautiful artistic iron staircase that allows you to reach the highest and most panoramic area of the entire structure. Once up, from here you can enjoy a view that spans 360 degrees, from the Salento countryside to the intense blue of the sea up to the soft colors of summer sunsets. The Two Trulli truly represent an excellent solution for those looking for relaxation and rest away from stress and summer chaos. A covered space inside the property, which is entirely fenced, can accommodate two cars. Ample maneuvering space for cars.
