The house was clean and comfortable. It had what we needed for a weekend stay, and when I had a few questions for the owner before arrival, she was quick to respond. The street is a little busy, but that didn't detract from our stay.

We stayed here for a weekend of Tigers spring training games. The location was AMAZING! The house was super clean. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The shower lacked hot water but all other faucets were fine. I was told to let it run, which I did for 5 minutes then two people showered and it still was not hot. “Handyman” said it was okay because glass steamed up. Cold glass does not require much heat to get steamed up. Owner was always quick to respond, but issue was not resolved so it was 5 days of cold showers. I would suspect problem is adjustment of the nylon sleeve inside the handle, but the “handyman” thought the water temperature was fine. At 68 years old, and 20 years of travel 5 days a week, in multiple countries, I understand the differences between a hot and cold shower and various accomodationsWater had a sulfur smellMold in base of shower at wallSome walls painted without filling old holes, spots painted without sanding filler.Tap is wrong design for a small sink and will spray over the top edge if turned on full.BBQ listed and I saw charcoal and lighter fluid but no BBQ. Maybe other renter had it. This is a 2 unit home.Coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper were there, but the kitchen was not stocked compared to prior rentals on VRBONo dishwasher, and dish rack was dirty so I hand dried each piece after washing and rinsing. The handle is falling off one of the frying pansThe shrubs were overgrown in the front of the house, and the door and frame were covered in bugs. I understand it is from leaving the front light on, but you would think it would be swept down prior to initial arrival.Nice flooring
