In the heart of DOMBES, halfway between Pérouges and the bird park of Villars les Dombes, at the gates of Lyon, the cottage has its origins in this farm formerly dependent on the fortified castle of Montellier. At the end of the Dombes farmhouse of this agricultural exploitation (cereals and calves raised from September to May) the cottage welcomes in a green setting 7 people (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). Through the courtyard and the private garden, the entrance to a bright living room and a spacious lounge. A fully equipped and functional kitchen area, a mini laundry room with washing machine and dryer and separate WC with hand basin, in a row a small office area with built-in cupboard serving the master bedroom (1 bed 160 * 200) with Italian-style bathroom. In the center of the living space by the white staircase, you access the first floor with 2 bedrooms: one with 1 bed 140x190 and dressing room and the second with 2 beds 90x190 and 1 single bed 120x190; bathroom with Italian shower and separate toilet. Central heating (wood pellets and double flow air conditioning). The swimming pool shared with the other guests and the owner (4.1 * 8.5, depth from 0.9 to max 2m with regular slope) with its low shelter and sheltered terrace are available from mid-April to mid-September (10 a.m.-7 p.m.). Nearby: a lake for fishing enthusiasts. Ideal for bike rides (a few bicycles available at the gîte) the Dombes plateau, rich in its thousand ponds, will enchant you with its peaceful nature and its cuisine. To discover: the markets of Meximieux and Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne under its covered halls and a little further the metropolis of Lyon and its historical and gastronomic heritage, the capital of BRESSE and its Royal Monastery or even Bugey and its renowned vineyard.
