The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing — the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. Our room was cozy, spotless, and full of charm, with a beautiful view of the trees outside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about their guests. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a peaceful stay in Lyon. We’ll definitely come back — it’s one of those places you never forget.

The stay felt like a magical experience. The woods were something out of a story book, and our room felt like a little doll house especially on waking in the morning. We were so blown away by the breakfast basket, the best baguette we’ve ever had. There was so much thought and kindness in all of the hosts efforts. We will never forget our stay, the awe of the building and land and multiple warm greetings. It was an amazing first night in France. I can’t remember the name of the trees near the front gate but they are so magnificent. Def explore right from the front of the property there are so many curiosities, like secret tunnels and ancient water features.

We rented the Guard Tower and it was absolutely astonishing! A lot of space, really cool interior. The estate on which the accommodation is located is beautiful too! The welcome of JM was really friendly and warm.

Comfortable in a beautiful property with generous hosts and lovely interior design.

Fantastic location, and hosts the room and communal area were tastefully decorated with great amenities, the breakfast was tip top, with home made jam and fresh baguette and croissant. The grounds and the main house were absolutely beautiful and Max and Louise the owners a very welcoming and attentive hosts. We visited an Italian for supper Parmigiano on the other side of the city fantastic value food of very high quality.

Fabulous family stay!

As soon as you cross the gate it almost takes you back 200 years ago to a traditional French château with an amazing atmosphere of tranquillity and calmness. The garden is filled with majestic Pine trees which provide generous refuge from heat during the daytime and every corner of it is filled with amazing adventure for children.

L'emplacement est idéal, la propriété est très belle et parking gratuit à disposition. L'accueil était vraiment courtois et chaleureux.

Nous n'avions pas compris que le salon était partagé et qu'il y avait autant de promiscuité avec l'autre chambre. Même si c'est le principe d'un gîte là en terme d'intimité et d'isolation c'est compliqué. L'information n'est pas assez mise en avant dans le descriptif de l'annonce malheureusement. Si comme nous, vous n'avez pas de chance avec les autres visiteurs présents ça peut gâcher l'expérience et la tranquillité du séjour car l'isolation n'est pas au rdv. Si vous êtes grand la salle de bain n'est pas pratique (le flexible de douche est très court), lavabo bouché, pas de meuble pour installer ses vêtements ou affaires et pas de poubelle non plus (ni dans les toilettes). La chambre était poussiéreuse (particulièrement au niveau de la tête de lit) et il y avait une très mauvaise odeur d'urine de chat dans le couloir. Même si le domaine est très beau et la décoration également ça ne fait pas tout et honnêtement le rapport qualité prix est plus que limite.

Je ne recommanderais pas et je ne vais clairement pas faire de pub

Bonjour, premièrement il est indiqué que le logement est entier. Quelle ne fut pas la surprise de ma mère quand ils sont arrivés et qu’il y avait un autre couple, qui eux-mêmes étaient étonnés. Ce qui veut dire qu’à part la chambre, il fallait partager les lieux communs et c’est indiqué à aucun moment. Pour ce qui est du jacuzzi, il fallait le réserver, mais encore une fois ce n’était indiqué nulle part et personne ne l’a dit avant. L’accueil a été faite par une jeune australienne, qui ne parlait pas du tout français, qui ne faisait aucun effort pour se faire comprendre, c’est-à-dire zéro effort. Ma mère ne parlant pas anglais, c’est l’autre couple qui a dû traduire. 170 € la nuit avec petit déjeuner, je trouve ça vraiment aberrant ! Surtout quand on doit partager le logement.

Tutto: posizione, accoglienza, camera, colazione e disponibilità di un locale comune. La struttura si trova all’interno di un parco, poco distante da Lione. Siamo andati nel periodo della festa delle luci e abbiamo molto apprezzato il silenzio e la tranquillità che ritrovavamo al termine delle giornate in mezzo alla folla di turisti. Non abbiamo mai usato l’auto, con I mezzi pubblici si arriva in centro in circa mezz’ora

Toll, klasse, sehr schön - wir kommen wieder!

Es war ein sehr schönes Zimmer im Anbau an das historische (Turm-)Gebäude. Der direkte Garten um das Gebäude ist sehr schön und großzügig angelegt, man fühlt sich trotz Nähe zur Großstadt sehr sicher. Der zum „Schloss“ gehörende Wald ist riesig und ein tolles Naturerlebnis. Max: wir lieben deinen Frühstückskorb :-) Man kann im Gemeinschaftszimmer, im Garten oder im Wald frühstücken - wie man will, ein Erlebnis.

W-Lan hat gefehlt. Für uns kein Problem, wir haben ein großes Datenvolumen :-)

J'ai passé un super moment dans cette magnifique dépendance de château. Le cadre est splendide, la décoration est réalisée avec un goût rare et une attention aux moindres détails — un véritable cocon de charme et de confort. Jean-Maxime m'a accueilli avec une gentillesse et une prévenance remarquables : chaleureux, disponible et aux petits soins. La chambre est spacieuse, parfaitement équipée, et la literie d’un confort absolu. Le petit-déjeuner est tout simplement parfait avec des produits de qualité. Un grand merci pour cette parenthèse de douceur. J'espère vivement revenir très bientôt ! 💖

Séjour trop court hors du temps et de notre époque. Vaut le détour.

L'établissement était idéalement situé par rapport à notre programme. La propriété est exceptionnelle, elle propose un cadre enchanteur de rêve alors que nous sommes en pleine ville. Les chambres sont calmes et très comfortables avec un décor luxueux et moderne dans l'esprit du château de la propriété. L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires ne fait que rajouté au charme de l'établissement. A voir et à revoir.

Jammer dat we op zon prachtige locatie niet persoonlijk werden ontvangen maar door een Mexicaanse die weinig vertelde en nauwelijks Frans spreekt. Dit maakt het erg onpersoonlijk. Daarnaast is er niets te drinken beschikbaar ( ook geen water). Dit is een gemiste kans! Maak meer verbinding met je gasten!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour à Lyon Country House. L’accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité du propriétaire ont permis de vivre 5 jours sans aucun souci. De plus, la propriété offre un large espace pour retrouver ses énergies grâce aux arbres exceptionnels et aux sentiers multiples. En plus, la maison est située à 300 m d’un arrêt de bus qui nous conduit au centre de Lyon en 18 minutes. Ce lieu reposant, dans un cadre exceptionnel est magique. Il inspire l’essentiel pour retrouver la forme juste à côté de Lyon.

Très joli domaine arboré. Chambre magnifiquement décorée, bonne literie. Salle commune jolie avec café et thés à disposition.

Pas de wifi et la 4G très moyenne. Pensez à prendre de la lecture. La chambre donne sur une rue où il y a du passage, ce samedi, dès 06h00 le bruit des voitures. Compliqué de dormir fenêtre ouverte. Petit déjeuner succinct déposé dans un panier.

Een prachtige en unieke plek, met super aardige mensen. We hebben genoten van onze overnachting en het heerlijke ontbijt. Een aanrader voor iedereen die in Lyon verblijft.

We konden maar èèn nachtje blijven en dus helaas geen tijd gehad om een wandeling maken over het mooie landgoed dat bij deze accomodatie hoort.

Très belle demeure et un parc magnifique, une nuitée et expérience insolites.

Belle rénovation dans ce lieu historique avec un emplacement remarquable. Le parc forestier au sein de la propriété est bluffant en plein cœur de la ville. L'accueil personnalisé de la part du propriétaire est à la fois chaleureux, amical et utile :-) Le panier petit déjeuner est bien pensé, même si nos deux ados buveurs de lait sont restés un peu sur leur soif :-)

La chambre principale ne dispose pas de volets ou rideaux occultants, cela peut déranger les personnes souhaitant dormir dans le noir complet. Problématique aussi le lampadaire éclairant à l'extérieur de la chambre. Si vous étés dans ce cas, il faut choisir la chambre au deuxième étage avec velux et son rideau occultant, noir complet assuré pour le coup :-)
