Lyon Country House - Suites & Tour de Garde

L'accueil de Jean-Maxime fut très chaleureux, le domaine est magnifique, la chambre décorée avec goût, la literie très confortable et le petit-déjeuner délicieux! Allez-y les yeux fermés!!!

L'accueil en langue anglaise et la rapidité de la réception. Même chose pour le départ. Nettoyage pas à la hauteur du lieu (cheveux dans siphon de la baignoire). Pas de poubelle dans la salle de bain.

Le lieu est magique ! L'accueil est parfait ! Et Snoop Dog est adorable. Très bien situé, notre court séjour pour une escapade en amoureux a été très agréable.

We found this place by pure chance, a last-minute booking, and we count ourselves incredibly lucky that we did. Julia welcomed us when we arrived and made everything easy from the first minute. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jean Max, the owner, who told us about the history of the house and his plans for its future. Hearing him talk about it was one of the highlights of our stay. You can feel how much he cares about the place, and it shows in every detail. And what a setting. Old stones, entirely private, with grounds that are something else: cedars of Lebanon that are 350 years old and enormous, water fountains, and the secret monks' passages running under the wood. Our four children, all under ten, were in heaven. There is space everywhere for them to run and explore, and nothing we needed to worry about. The house itself is full of character and beautifully kept, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful. Julia and Jean Max, thank you both for such a warm welcome. We will definitely be back.
