This beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom flat is set within a brand new development in Layerthorpe. You will find everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay, including a fully fitted kitchen/open plan living area, 2 modern bathrooms (1 including a bath) with complimentary toiletries and towels as well as Wifi throughout. This is the perfect base for up to 4 guests to make the most of York.
The Space:
This modern and stylish apartment has been finished to a high standard and features comfortable furnishings and modern fixtures and fittings throughout. The floor to ceiling windows let natural light shine through the flat. The open plan living space features a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to get creative with cooking from home, a dining table, sofa, armchair and smart TV. There is high speed broadband throughout the apartment. There are 2 spacious double bedrooms, both featuring comfortable beds made up with crisp hotel linen, full length windows and storage space for clothes. One also has an en-suite shower room. The modern family bathroom has a shower with bath, toilet and sink as well as complimentary toiletries and fresh towels for your use. Guests also benefit from access to the communal gym in the building. The building is very safe, with a dedicated concierge and 24/7 CCTV in communal areas.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of York, it's just a 5 minute walk to the city centre, where you will find an array of shops, bars, restauants and historical attractions. York Minster, the largest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe and the Jorvik Viking Centre are just a 10 minute walk away, whilst York Castle Museum can be reached in just 20 minutes on foot. You are also well placed to access the historic city walls, which you can walk around and get the best view of the city free of charge. There's also an Asda and a large Morrisions supermarket just around the corner from the apartment.
Getting Around:
Being so centrally located, most areas of the city are easily explored on foot. Should you wish to rest your legs there are bus routes that service the nearby main road, and local taxi services. The main York Train Station, with links to other UK cities, is around a 25 minute walk away, or a short taxi ride.
Other Things to Note:
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics that you will need during your stay.
Hairdryer, vacuum, iron and ironing board are available.
Please note you must confirm your check in time at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival.
If you are delayed by more than one hour from the agreed time, an additional charge of £10/hr will be applicable.
Late check-in fees:
· For check-ins between 22:00 to 00:00 : £50.
· For check-ins between 00:00 to 07:00 : £75.
For security reasons:
· We may ask you to upload a photo of yourself on your profile if you do not have one.
· No 3rd party bookings. If you book and can’t be present for the check-in we will have to ask you for additional information.

Flat was perfectly fine. Was location a short walk from centre. I would have preferred check in to be self check in

Great accommodation, very clean, comfy beds and excellent location for walking to the beach or shops. Parking is an issue but you can leave your car on the seafront for free near the boating lake.There is limited crockery so anymore than 4 and you will need to be flexible, and no TV to speak of (other than freeview which doesn't work), but you can connect your laptop etc if you feel you have to watch television on holiday.Overall the lobster pot is a very good option for a relaxing break by the sea.

Great location for us.Quiet but unit we were in you could hear people in the gym and that wasn’t good at 11pm…Could use more cutlery, cups and a fry pan
