A two-family villa surrounded by spacious outdoor areas (about three hectares) in the countryside but also very close to the sea.
The villa was an old country ruin surrounded by three hectares of land, which we restored and divided into two sections: one is occupied by the owner, and the other serves as a vacation home for tourists.
There is a single entrance with ample parking (free on-site with video surveillance) and vast outdoor spaces where you can take walks surrounded by nature, relax, and listen to the birds singing.
The vacation home includes a private garden with a barbecue, a sitting area, and a dining area where you can enjoy wonderful meals under a tree;
Inside the house, you’ll find a spacious open-concept kitchen surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, equipped with a 4-burner stove, an oven, a fridge/freezer, a coffee maker, and everything you need for cooking (pots, pans, utensils, and dishes);
A living room with a sofa and armchair and a TV, with a bedroom featuring a double bed located on a loft above it;
Another bedroom with a double bed and a spacious closet;
A bathroom with a bidet and toilet, and a spacious shower.
Sheets and towels provided + complimentary toiletries kit (shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and toilet paper).
Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Beach towels and a beach umbrella are available free of charge upon request.
You can use the laundry facility for an additional 5 euros per use (detergent included) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Nearby are the beaches of Asparano and Ognina.
In Ognina, you’ll find bars and restaurants, boat rentals, and a diving center… a truly enchanting spot where you can enjoy crystal-clear waters, go snorkeling
, and immerse yourself in the fascinating natural surroundings. I recommend visiting Torre Cuba.
The house is about a 7-minute drive from the beautiful Fontane Bianche beach, where you’ll find fully equipped beach clubs, bars, an ice cream shop, a small shop, and restaurants.
If you want to buy food or other items, you can reach Syracuse or Cassibile (a small village) in 10 minutes.
I highly recommend visiting Gelsomineto Beach, located just outside Cassibile—it’s absolutely wonderful!!!
Also, just outside Cassibile, you’ll find the highway, which will allow you to quickly reach other destinations in Sicily.
