About this apartment rental

Münstertal
This tranquil 120 sq m (1,800 sq ft) holiday apartment in a roughly 300-year-old traditional Black Forest house spans the ground floor, first floor, upper floor and small attic and is situated by a small river in a quiet side valley. The beautiful over 80 sq m (800 sq ft) living and kitchen area on the upper floor features a cozy tiled stove, a sitting and TV corner, a breakfast bar directly adjacent to the kitchen, and a large dining table. Sleeping accommodation includes a separate spacious bedroom with a double bed on the first floor. The living area (upper floor) also offers two sofa beds and the small attic provides additional sleeping space with mattresses. The bathroom features a sauna and sanarium, underfloor heating, and a rain shower. A small step through the garden allows guests to access the stream for a refreshing dip.

The terrace by the small river has an outdoor fireplace for grilling and a second terrace also offers a barbecue area and a big dining table. The house also boasts a large games room in the basement with a ping-pong table, foosball table and dartboard.
The holiday apartment is located in the heart of the Black Forest in the idyllic upper Münstertal valley. A stream, the Stampf, runs directly in front of the house. Cycling and hiking trails with magnificent views and even a waterfall begin right at the house which is also listed as a point of interest on Komoot. In the valley you'll find a historic Baroque monastery, a beekeeping museum, a visitor mine and various restaurants ranging from rustic mountain huts to Michelin-starred establishments. The tourist highlights of Staufen, Freiburg, Basel, and Colmar, as well as thermal baths, the amusement park “Europa-Park” and the local ski resorts are easily accessible by car or public transport (see descriptions on our website below). Public transport within southern Baden is free with the KONUS guest card from the tourism association. Shopping facilities and train connections to Freiburg are just a 10-minute drive away. The public bus stop is located at the end of the street and is easily reachable on foot.
