I’ve named my house “Brisa Mar.” This exclusive residential complex is located above downtown Albufeira and the marina. Both downtown and the ocean are within walking distance—about 8–10 minutes.
The house features 3 terraces, 2 of which overlook the greenery and lead directly to the pool; the third terrace offers a sweeping view of the ocean, and breakfast there is very popular with guests.
On the first floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a small restroom, a staircase leading to the living room (with a pull-out sofa for 2 people), and a terrace with seating and a grill just a few steps from the pool.
First floor: a bedroom with a double bed, a terrace facing the pool, a bathroom with a tub and bidet, and a washing machine. The third terrace offers a view of the sea and is furnished with lounge chairs. The house is particularly suitable for guests with children because the pool is very close by and visible from the living room terrace.
The complex is very quiet and well-maintained, and easy to reach. There is the opportunity to play tennis and soccer within the condominium.
There is a small shop at the pool bar/restaurant; otherwise, a minimarket is nearby, about 5 minutes away. In the living room, you’ll find several travel guides for both golfers and for cities and beaches worth visiting in the Algarve. A “must-see” is Cape St. Vicente, the southernmost point of Europe on the Atlantic Ocean, featuring spectacular cliffs.
Albufeira has about 2 km of white sandy beach, which you can reach in 10 minutes on foot from the house. An elevator takes you from the promenade directly to the ocean, and you’ll appreciate it on your way back from the water! Our condominium is located on a hill that takes a bit of effort to climb. From the promenade, you’re just a few steps away from the center of the old town. There’s also an “entertainment district,” the “Strip,” though it’s located a bit outside the city center.
