About this apartment rental
To the west of Albufeira centre sits Albufeira's colourful marina. It's a great spot this for passing a lazy afternoon watching people and boats, and sipping coffees or a beer from one of the many chic coffee shops come bars lining the marina. You can tell considerable effort, and investment, has gone into Albufeira Marina. It's beautifully colourful, with dolphin sculptures and more. There's a yacht club here, plus shops, and various boat trips depart from the marina.
Please note there is tourist tax which is not included the cost & fees mentioned in this platform because this tax is expected to be paid directly by the guest to the Albufeira Local Authority. The details are given in the rental agreement. This tourist tax is 2 euors per day per person (above the age of 12 years) for a maximum of 7 days to be paid directly by the guest latest on the day of arrival. effective 27 April 2026 there is change in the process of tourist tax payment. The Property owener will need to pay the tourist tax at the end of every month. Hence, effective 27 April 2026, the tourist tax will be included in the rental fees. Any airport transfers are available on actual costs to be paid directly to the taxi operator. Any mid-stay cleaning or change of linen is not included and would be charged at extra to be paid directly to the property manager.

Very well equipped and in a super position in the marina. Bars and restaurants a 1 minute walk. The apartment needed a few repairs especially the bathroom with cracked tiles and losely fit hand rails. Would we come here again...in a heart beat.

Apartment was good for 5 of us, with one on the sofa. Kitchen was small but had most of the items we needed to do a few meals. That said, if we used the oven and had the air conditioner on (in the living room) at the same time, the power would have to be reset. The location suitednour needs as we had a rental car. Warning!!! If you keep the spare key in the keyhole on the inside of door, it will cause you to be unable to use the key on the outside to get back in the apartment, as it will jam the lock. Costly mistake, as we had to pay to get the door opened by the handyman.
Just mentioning this, as locks do not function the same everywhere around the world.
