Heinrich Wolfi Heritage Inn

Our stay was truly wonderful, and we felt the warmth and hospitality of the family throughout. The home-cooked food was delicious, and they went out of their way to make us feel completely at home. They even prepared separate non-vegetarian food for me and vegetarian food for my friend, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Kannan was incredibly kind and happily took us around to all the places on our list. He also helped us explore the local market to shop for authentic spices and even dropped us off at our next stay, despite it being quite far away. And of course, their adorable pet dog, Bhishmer, deserves a special mention! He is so cute and such a fun companion to hang out with. Thank you so much for your warmth, kindness, and all the little things you did to make our stay so memorable. We truly felt at home and would love to visit again!

It had a nice garden and walking distance from the beach

Context: I stayed here by chance because most accommodation near the Amritapuri ashram had been booked. Stayed an additional two days because it was restful. Fairly priced for an air-conditioned room in this location. Home-owner is courteous and reasonable. General colourful vibe to the property. Note: Meals are provided on request. While i found them wholesome fare (i.e. homely Kerala food, non-spicey), guests are partaking of the same meal that the home-owner and family have. So keep expectations reasonable.

Since this is a home, the size of each room and bathroom layout varies. While the room size is mentioned in the listing, keep an eye out on the bathroom for your room. Bathrooms were clean (with showers and water heaters). fyi, the surf at the local beach was rough this time of the year. Please check with the locals before venturing into the surf. The local backwaters supposedly have better opportunities for tourism, but i didn't venture there as it wasn't the purpose of my trip.

The family arranged home cooked food for us. They were cordial during our stay.

There was water on the top floor due to rains.

Zeer aangename, vriendelijke mensen.
