We loved our brief but peaceful stay at Devils Lair surrounded by wallabies in the evening. It was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed including a lovely shower, very comfy bed and great fire if it had only got cool enough.
We were looking forward to our croissants for breakfast but unfortunately didn’t read the instructions for baking until the morning as they were in the fridge and then discovered they required proving overnight. Also there were some gorgeous coffee table books but some general information on sights, walks etc in the area etc would have been appreciated and perhaps some tips on how best to spot wildlife in the area.

Large, new cabins in an isolated spot on the mountain. No light pollution for stargazing and plenty of local wildlife. Cabin comprehensively equipped and spotlessly clean Large patio area for watching the sunset. Comfortable beds where you can wake with a view
There's a steep, rutted track from distillery to the cabin which a regular car wouldn't appreciate. I understand this is due to be fixed soon though.
