Huis met de krul

With an amazing view over the water we enjoyed coffee from the espresso machine and made real Dutch breakfast in the small but well equipped kitchen. The apartment is within 30 minutes of Amsterdam Central Station, yet the experience over here is a totally different one. The neighborhood is in the process of establishing, you may encounter some dead end streets, random piles of sand, and architectural candy around every corner. The friendly and welcoming owners have been super helpful and you will enjoy the place as if it's yours.

The neighborhood is super fresh, a bar or local supermarket next to your apartment have not arrived yet. You can find plenty of all those things in a 10 minute walk. And the city center is well within easy reach.

Tout était parfait. Les hôtes sont agréables et serviables, le logement est décoré avec goût, tous les équipements nécessaires sont présents, les lits sont confortables et l’environnement est vraiment calme et paisible. Nous avons loué des vélos pour aller au Centre d’Amsterdam, nous y étions en 35 min. C’est aussi ça le charme de la visite de la ville, tout pouvoir faire en vélo. Je recommande vivement ce logement et je remercie Cathalijn et Cees pour leur accueil.

Easy to find due to the striking appearance. Cathalijne and Cees, the landlords, were always very quick to help. The flat itself is very nice and situated in a quiet area. We rented bikes so it was also very easy to then cycle to the east or cycle to city centre.

The local area is currently under construction but that's out of the landlords control. It meant that it takes longer to reach the city centre where most tourist attractions are by tram although we used bikes so didn't face this as an issue. The local bike shop is closed on Sundays so we had to rent bikes from the centre.
