Welcome to Great Canal Studio!
Located right by a canal in the beautiful man made island called Ijburg in the east of Amsterdam.
We have the pleasure to offer you a family room on the ground level of a villa , with a complimentary parking space.
Guest studio is smoking free, smoking (cigarettes) is only allowed outside on patio, USE OF ANY DRUGS(INCLUDING MARIJUANA) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED !
This cosy studio has everything you need for a perfect home away from home stay.
Here you will find a queen bed, a sleeping couch that fits 2, cosy blankets, books, candles, TV, Cd's and Dvd's , toys for kids and games to enjoy a homey atmosphere.
Bathroom facilities includes a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel. There is also a iron/ iron board.
In the kitchennete you will find an oven/microwave( no stove ), toaster, egg cooker, eletric kettle and coffee machine; coffee, tea, sugar, chocolate powder, salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar are available for you to prepare breakfast or a light meal and enjoy it admiring the beautiful view of swans and ducks on the canal.
Shops, supermarkts, pharmacies, restaurants all in walking distance(2 min). Tram stop to Central Station is a 2 min walk. Tram comes every 5 minutes and takes you to Central Station in 15 minutes.
If you fancy biking, you can rent one at Bikes and Boards ( 2 min walk) and bike to beautiful villages close by( Durgedam, Muiden, Marken, etc.) or bike your way to Amsterdam center through the beautiful Diemen park and east area of Amsterdam( 40 min bike ride with scenic views).
We love it here because it is safe , quiet, among beautiful water and nature with all needed facilities in life and still so close to the center of Amsterdam with all cultural places, activities and entertainment Amsterdam has to offer.

This property was exactly as described and could not have been more perfect for our trip! Jackie was a wonderful host who was more than happy to provide us detailed recommendations on where to get some great local food. We took her up on her Cafe Moeders suggestion and it did not disappoint! Her property was a quick 3 minute walk from the metro line, which from there was an easy 15 minute ride right into downtown Amsterdam. There was comfortable furniture, up-to-date appliances, and Jackie even provided some small snacks/refreshments for us! If I find myself back in Amsterdam, I would definitely book her property again!

Great place to stay! The apartment is right next to the tram which you can take to the central area of the city. We had a good stay and everything was good! Thank you!
