Not safe, no sea view from inside property, place and bedding not clean

To see the view you had to come out of the property, lock the door, walk 40 feet, walk up hill steps over grass onto decking. Then the view was good. The owner give free night but no compensation for the cost and terrible place

NOT SAFE AT ALL The property joins another part of the bungalow that is occupied by someone else You CAN NOT lock the joining door from your side. The other occupant can enter any time. The bedding was not clean and covered in hairs, grey not white, rang 2 numbers got no answer only answer was by message on complaining a second set was brought the next day which was as grey as the other set and was an open end fabric cover not quilt cover looked 15 years old. Awful. We slept in our dressing gowns no cover. Even the protectors were dirty. Double Bed is not a proper length either short for someone 5ft 10 end has a foot board and had to sleep with knees bent every night... No view unless standing outside of property. Back of property looks onto a slate wall. Cleaning is terrible throughout. Not a very good property. We tried our best not to let it spoil the stay but unfortunately it did you feel on edge all night thinking someone is going to enter.

Great apart from the mattresses

The mattresses were all quite worn, you could really feel the springs in them. They could really do with purchasing new ones. Other than that everything was great.

Apart from the above, it was an enjoyable stay with lovely walks and views.

As we are in our 80s, we found we had to drive everywhere owing to the property being in a very steep location. Although we are both fit, it was just too difficult walking to the town and beach. It would have helped us if the details of the location were made clearer, it was described as 440 yards from the centre, no mention of the degree of steepness.

This property was in a great location, has interesting decor and a lovely welcoming home. We really enjoyed our stay here and was very comfortable after a long walk.

Not easy for large cars to get access, mainly due to roads and the places that neighbours park their cars, so really outside the control of owners

Excellent last minute stay and would not hesitate in recommending the property and location.

The property and the location. The view from the terrace was wonderful. Hosts were very helpful. Nice walk down to the beach although quite steep. No dogs allowed!

Basic welcome pack would have been nice and perhaps a jug of water in the fridge. The garden by the patio is lovely not child friendly and would benefit from a barrier around it’s steep drop.
