Domaine DI AMUVRELLA

Easy contact with both host and owner. The duplex is located in a closed resort with shared pool, clean and quiet during our stay. 2 dedicated parking spots, right at the entrance of the apartment. 2 minutes drive to supermarket and less than 10 minutes drive to the lovely center of Calvi. Beautiful, almost new duplex. We needed only 1 bedroom, so the other bedrooms were locked, but we could use the 2 very large terraces with great views over Calvi, the surroundings and the sea. The duplex was clean and had all that one needs, dish washer, washing machine, ironing equipment, cleaning equipment. Decoration is modern and bright, almost new.

Difficult to find anything, only feel our bedroom was a bit small. But have not seen the others, so cannot really compare. The shower can get a bit slippery, so take care. The place can sleep up to 8 persons, but in case of bad weather it would probably get a bit crowded inside the living room/kitchen.

This is a beautiful new vacation home. 4 bedrooms were nicely set up, everything looks exactly like the photos. The place had a beautiful patio, the bedrooms were good and having 2 bathrooms was appreciated. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. We appreciated the beach towels and the shower towels. Beds were comfortable. We had 7 people staying here and it was perfect for us. Town and beach is a short drive away (10 min drive to Calvi town) and beach was 6-7 min drive.

The fridge door needs to be reversed sides. It opens on the wrong side and you end up bashing your hands on the door frame every single time. We all have bruises from that fridge door. Also, the air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms did not work well, and the room temperature never went below 24’c. It was 35’c plus outside so it might have been too much for the system, but sleeping was harder with such warm rooms.

Exceptionnel !
