San Marco Suite by Bricola Apartments

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, wenige Minuten von den Vaporetto-Anlegestellen entfernt. Bis zum Markusplatz sind es auch nur wenige Gehminuten. Man fühlt sich vom Team sehr gut betreut, zusätzlich liegt ein Ordner mit nützlichen Informationen für Gäste bereit.

Wir hätten ein paar mehr Küchenutensilien wie z.B. einen Pfannenwender gebrauchen können. Aber man kommt mit den vorhandenen Sachen klar.

El apartamento es perfecto para dos personas. Es muy luminoso, cuenta con una amplia zona de comedor y está renovado con mucho gusto. El vecindario es tranquilo y agradable, con restaurantes y cafeterías excelentes a pocos pasos. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado, lo que hizo la estancia aún más cómoda. Además, la atención recibida fue impecable antes, durante y después de nuestra estancia; la comunicación fue siempre rápida y eficaz. Mención especial para la ubicación, que es sencillamente un 10. Sin duda, una opción totalmente recomendable para disfrutar de Venecia.

Pros: * Good location. * The apartment has basic kitchenware, a refrigerator for storing food, a TV, Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a short stay of a few days.

Cons: Unfortunately, the apartment feels quite old and worn out. The furniture and appliances are clearly past their best. As soon as we arrived, the toilet seat came completely off because it wasn’t properly attached. The kitchen faucet handle was also very loose and felt like it could break at any moment. The sofa is visibly old, stained, and really needs a deep clean. The shower cabin is extremely small. My husband is 194 cm tall, and it was very difficult for him to fit inside. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. When I unpacked my suitcase and opened the wardrobe, I found a dried-up scorpion inside. I have no idea how it got there, but it looked like it had been there for a very long time, which made it seem as though the wardrobe hadn’t been cleaned or checked in quite a while. Another important thing to know is that there is no elevator. You have to carry your luggage up a long and fairly steep staircase, so this may be difficult for elderly guests, people with mobility issues, or anyone traveling with heavy suitcases. The biggest downside for us, however, was the check-in policy. We were traveling around Italy by car, and it’s impossible to predict your exact arrival time. Sometimes there is traffic, and sometimes you simply want to stop to enjoy a beautiful view. However, the hosts kept insisting that we provide an exact arrival time and informed us that arriving after 6:00 PM would result in an additional fee. Honestly, I don’t understand why, in 2026, when key boxes with code locks are so common, guests still have to rush through their vacation because of such restrictions. Because we didn’t want to risk paying an extra fee, we skipped a place we had planned to visit and hurried to the apartment instead. In the end, we arrived at 6:14 PM. Fortunately, we were not charged anything, but the constant pressure about the arrival time caused unnecessary stress throughout the day.
