Location was good. We stay in Gold Beach often and this place was good. Kitchen had every appliance necessary if one wanted to cook. Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean and bright. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
We did not like the fact we were asked to take the garbage out and take sheets off the beds. We did both as a courtesy. Last year we were asked the same in Switzerland. We were disgusted when we pulled sheets off the bed there was blood and hair lying on the mattress cover. I really this sort of thing should be done by cleaning staff. Thankfully this bed was spotless. We left the place as we found it, very clean!
Also there is a stairway down to the lower unit. One could easily fall down the stairs during the night, coming from the kitchen to the bathroom, one could mistake the stairs for the door, if a light was dim. We have a similar situation at our home, so we put a baby gate on the top of the stairs.
