I loved the bright atmosphere with the big windows, yellow curtains and incredible view of the city and volcanos. The bed was cozy and there was hot water in the shower. The small size was perfect for just me. The location is close to everything you need and isn’t touristy at all. Ubers were affordable for getting into the city and to/from the airport or trailheads.
Unfortunately the wifi only worked for the first night and wasn’t fixed before I left. Cellular service also wasn’t strong so I wasn’t able to get much work done. I wish there had been more tea. There were a lot of dogs barking for long periods of time. I recommend ear plugs and a sleeping mask to block out the automatic hallway light.

The apartment is small, for sure, but beautifully designed. The owner must either be an interior designer, or she hired one. As well as being beautifully appointed, every convenience is there, from a coffee maker to a hair dryer to wireless speakers to a large TV. Excellent communication from the owner at all times. I made a very last minute reservation and they accommodated me.
It's smaller in real life than the photos, but the description does say small, so 🤷🏼‍♀️
