This 150 year old home is a special place to visit. This listing is specifically for the in-law suite on the west side of the main home. We very much enjoyed staying here. We had the mother in law suite part of the house which was more than adequate for our needs. We loved the historic home aspect to the site. Everything was clean and in order, owner was quick to respond to anything we conveyed to them, and it was lovely being the only ones staying at the house at the time.
This was the first time we've used a VRBO property and it was a great experience. We highly recommend this rental, and would stay here again. Thank you so much !

Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

This was a great property! Beautiful and spacious enough for our family of four. Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. I didn’t ask where it was and 2. We were busy and didn’t stay in too much. All in all, No complaints. Would definitely stay again!Thanks for having us!
