Picture your days spent on the oceanfront deck watching the waves crash along the shoreline! At Beachcomber Unit 2, you can do just that. Located at 1 Swedes Street, this fully remodeled vacation rental offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean in a modern and updated coastal condo. Guests enter this unit into the open concept kitchen and living room, that opens out onto the waterfront deck. Brew a cup of coffee in the morning, then just sit back and relax while listing to the ocean - it doesn't get any better! In addition to being right on the ocean, Beachcomber Unit 2 is centrally located in Dewey Beach, sitting directly on Swedes Street! This rental is a short stroll to area shops and restaurants like Dewey Beer Company, East of Maui, Nalu, and so much more! Unit 2 is located on the top floor of the building; Two flights of stairs are required to access this unit. Complex has parking for one car per unit; parking is labeled and found below the building. Shared, coin-operated washer and dryer can be found in the stairwell.

Pets are not permitted.
A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $146.50.

3 Night Stays- May and September
2 Night Stays- Jan through April and October through December
All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Ideal location and wonderful view from deck. Loved the raised chairs! Lots of stairs but totally worth it for the amazing view. Comfy, pretty, and beach decor. Single serve Keurig worked great. Kitchen was well equipped but couldn’t find a baking sheet (to cook bacon).Would love if the living room slider door was easier to open and both slider screens didn’t have tears in them. Already reserved for next year!

Amazing property. Exactly as shown in photos. Clean and comfortable. Location can’t be beat. We’ve been to Dewey numerous times, but the view from this deck is the best. Will definitely book again.

Arrived to find the property was not cleaned. Sand and pillow feathers on the floor. Coffee pot in cupboard had coffee grounds inside and filthy. (Glad we brought our own pot along). room rigs over the vinyl flooring were stained and dirty. Guest room closet door off track and leaning. Corner post on metal waste can was on table with can leaning against the wall. Master bedroom had 12 pillows on bed and guest room had 13 pillows on bed. No where to place them except on the living room sofa and it was stained and broken. The manager Bill Mantyla at Caldwell Premier was very responsive with getting a cleaning unit there within 30 minutes and a handy man Matt & his wife Beth to correct all the issues. The bed need new mattresses, it was a killer on the back and hips. The keys to the door locks need to have WD40 since they were almost impossible to turn the key to open. Living room patio door is extremely hard to slide open and screens on both patio doors were torn and need replaced. Beware that the second floor is actually 33 steps to climb since the parking area is under the units.
