Situated on the 5th floor, this beautifully renovated studio apartment has almost everything you need for a short getaway to Bucharest. Thanks to the convenient self-check-in, easy access, and excellent location near public transport and a convenience store just a block away, we highly recommend it. Like many listings in Bucharest, the apartment is located inside a classic, communist-era building—so don’t let the dated exterior fool you! The interior has been wonderfully modernized and features all the amenities you’d need for a week-long stay. To reach the room, there's a short flight of stairs followed by a lift. While the elevator looks quite old and might intimidate some guests, we found it perfectly safe, easily handling the two of us and our four bags (about 200kg total). If you prefer, you can easily walk up the stairs instead. The apartment door is right next to the lift and stairwell, but it is surprisingly quiet—we didn't hear any outside noise. Note for travelers: The building's central garbage disposal is located in the stairwell, which can get a bit smelly before collection day (especially on the ground floor), but this is standard for buildings of this era. The location is fantastic. It’s right across the road from the Gara de Nord Metro station (Green Line, Exit J), with a short walk to connect to the Yellow Line. It’s also just a 500m walk from the main train station (Bucharest Nord), making airport transfers incredibly easy. We arrived by train at 1:30 AM for just 13 LEI for both of us, and the self-check-in process made the late arrival absolutely seamless.
