Log Cabin at The Old Summer Dairy Glastonbury

What a besutiful little cabin in the countryside. We loved our stay here. The cabin was well presented and well equipped. It was very comfortable and the perfect place to wind down and relax for a couple of days. The gas bbq enabled us to eat well each evening. We hope to return next year.

Such a peaceful environment

Such a cute property which was perfect for our 3 day stay before moving on to our camping holiday. Very quiet and the children loved the beds in the eaves. Hosts were very friendly.and responded quickly to messages. The homemade biscuits and orange juice were cute little touches.

Location was lovely.

We thought there would be a toilet in the roof next to one of the beds as that’s what it looked like in the photos but I obviously got that wrong. Perhaps this could have been clearer in the description. There is only 1 toilet on main floor to share between 4 people also which caused issues. My elderly mother struggled with the step ladder so we moved her onto the sofa bed which was a very hard futon and very uncomfortable so we ended up cutting our stay short which was a shame as I really needed that break. Now need another holiday! This place is ideally suited for fit family with teenage children who can climb steep ladders, (not young children due to risk of them falling from a height).
